This is the Peter Jackson version, the movie is visual masterpiece. Perhaps a little too long, but worth a viewing.

The action in the movie is great the effects were great sound was also good the plot was good just a great family movie for all

I have never seen the original King Kong but this film is a masterpiece by Peter Jackson. The cast is superb and I find it hard to ever make another Kong film this good.

We really enjoyed watching this & we also appreciated the free Mummy movie reward that was included with this DVD. I highly recommend owning this action packed movie.

King Kong is a masterpiece and a brilliant follow for Peter Jackson after his legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy.

My son did not want a digital code because he thought it did not have the extras but it does and he loves it and watches it anywhere.

This movie is a bit on the long side due to being made by peter jackson, but it's worth watching.

I really enjoyed this movie. I had not watched it in a while and forgot how good it is. Especially the extended version. I’m so glad you can choose which version of the movie you want to watch and both are in 4K

although nothing can compare to the original 1933 version, enjoyed Peter Jackson's version mainly due to the CGI effects. think it is a nice remake.

Good remake with dinosaurs. If you’re the type that expects the remake to be in line with the original, you’ll be disappointed. This one adds a few scenes and characters to make this Kong story different

King kong looks so real in 4k he looks like he's coming out of the tv

The scenes leading up to Skull Island could've been slightly shorter but I still think that Peter Jackson did an incredible job making this movie.

...but the real hero is the upgraded DTS:X mix. Will make any home theater shake. Demo worthy; buy with confidence.

So I already had this on Bluray and I held out for a long time before buying the 4k version. Glad I got it. Great picture, great sound, worth the purchase.

Great movie bought it as a gift for a friend that didn’t have it in his collection. The steel case was cool have to consider getting another one for my collection ever thought a own two version of the movie.
