Favorite film by my absolute favorite living director. Picture and sound quality are both fantastic as is the story line which much of is based in fact. A wonderful period piece that is highly entertaining and a delight to view again and again. Highly recommended. Excellente'!

I've watched this film several times and continue to find complexities I had missed during the previous viewings. High quality casting... Eva Green is without doubt doubt one of the more memorable actresses of the last ten years. Her performance alone will ensure this film is in demand years from now.

I bought this blu-ray because it was the directors cut. This is the best version and blows the theatrical cut out of the water. I get why the studio wanted to cut down for time but in my opinion the extras scenes change the movie. Perfect gift for any movie collector.

this film is actually best seen in its full 3+ hour director’s cut. Scenes and character interactions feel more complete and the story sits better as a fully-told tale. The BR edition adds to the picture and sound quality for a historical epic underappreciated

I usually don't go into long reviews. But this Movie is absolutely amazing. The Directors Cut of the movies was way better in each way. I loved it, it didnt seem long, it was no down time at all in the 3 hours of it.

Had purchased this from best buy on dvd on release years ago. Finally glad to upgrade to bluray, and being director's cut didn't hurt either. Stellar cast ,and great cinematic viewing!

This is the version to get if you want this film. Loosely based on history of the end of the Crusades, following the main character through what went on in and around Jerusalem. A good morality story. Makes one think who are really the bad ones in history.

I bought this movie at a discounted price. I always enjoyed the movie's time period with its historic setting, battles, and political intrigue. I hated Riddley Scotts bunch off fluff that he adds, like a stupid love affair that drags and the main protagonist role that would have been better suited at the time for a Russel Crowe not Orlando Bloom.

I saw this movie when it came out and thought it was okay. Then I read an article online about how the Director's Cut made it a whole new movie. When I saw this on sale I gave it a try. Wow! Why didn't this get released like this originally? You need to check it out.

I skipped this one when it was released in theaters due to the bad reviews, but finally checked it out when the Director's Cut was released. I'm not sure what changes were made, but the Director's Cut of this one is a classic! Epic in every sense of the word, and a must-see film!

I enjoyed this movie although I'm not sure I have ever seen it from the beginning. Interesting historical fiction, not sure how close to the actual history it is, but great battle scene at the end. Good music and performances by Orlando Bloom, Edward Norton, and Jeremy Irons. Underrated when it first came out, but good Ridley Scott.

Classic movie I’ve been waiting a very very long time to get my hands on! Dope movie for anyone into spiritual uplifting movies! I sure enjoyed this classic and will be going to my collection!

I’ve heard about this movie from a lot of people, never saw it until now. THIS is a GREAT MOVIE!!! I can’t believe I never found the time to go and see it . This is a fantastic well done movie. And a great cast and very well written. 2 thumbs up !!!!

The director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven is vastly superior to the theatrical release. This blu ray has both the theatrical and director's cuts, as well as all the special features that were absent on the previous blu ray release. This is definitely the release to own.

Having bought this movie on DVD and getting a great deal on it as a Blu Ray I wanted to see the glue "directors cut". Ridley opens the film with a self introduction and elaborates on some scenes. All in all the Blu Ray compared to the theater release is a better finished product. Glad I made the purchase.

this is an older new movie. it was a smashing hit when it was released, and when it was released on DVD. This Blu-Ray release allows you to enjoy the movie in better color, and contrasts. if you like this movie, think of buying this Blu-Ray version.

Very nice set for this film. Make sure you watch the better extended version but this Blu-ray offers alternate versions of the film: Director's cut, Director's cut roadshow version and the Original theatrical version. A lot of behind the scenes stuff too!

I have always loved this movie even as a child and could never find it. Now that I have it in blue-ray its all the more incredible. Paired with a good sound system and the war for Jerusalem captures me as much as it did as a child

Been a fan of Kingdom of Heaven since it's release ten years ago (it's been that long??). Not only is the Director's Cut included but the Roadside Director's Cut which features a overture and intermission making it akin to the epics of the early 60's cinema.

Originally had the 4-disc DVD set, had always wanted a BD version. Initial BD release did not come with all the special features of the DVD set. This recent 2-disc BD set corrects that. Let this be a launching point to learn more of the Crusades, not the end-all be-all. This is not a documentary.
