After Ridley Scott did Gladiator I thought another foray into the past would be just as good. The film is long and a bit tiresome at points. The Blu-ray is great with the various versions of the film if only to see what all was added back in over time.

I saw this movie years ago. I don't remember much about it, but I remember wanting to own it latter in time. I got a good deal on it, so I picked it up. I haven't watched the copy I bought yet, but I do remember it was one I wanted to get.

This is an interesting movie about the Crusades. Part is the tedium of getting from France to the Holy Land, and part explains the conditions in Europe. The action is well done and the story is worth watching.

Decent and solid historical fiction by the always reliable, sometimes great Ridley Scott. A/V is good on the disc.
