The movie itself is not the best. But the movie leads into the story of FF15. Its a must watch for those who want to play the game. The movie ends where the game begins. Only worth watching for those interested in FF 15.

The art style on this movie is phenomenal. However, the story itself is not that great which is fairly consistent with the whole FFXV experience (game play great but not a great story).

I was hoping this would be somewhat Games of Thrones-like, but it was mostly game of snores. The rendering of the animation is a sight to see. The detail and imagination is beyond reproach, sadly the movie folds in on itself with unnecessary layers of complexity and poor cut-scenes. It seems to feel more like animatics for a video game at some points than a feature film. IF you are wanting to chill with some cool CG animation, this is a visual treat. But if you want an engaging story line, this is more World of Warcraft than Avatar :)

Like the girl or guy you always wanted and them realized they were only gorgeous on the outside. The voice acting is good and the animation is stunning, but that's about it.

Visually, Kingsglaive is a feast for the eyes. The CGI is very impressive, and at times the photorealistic environments are indistinguishable from live action film. However, as a story telling device the movie falls flat. I felt no connection to any of the characters or the plot, and a procession of forgettable action scenes occur without much sense of urgency or stakes. Ultimately, this feels like little more than a tech demo, and therefore is difficult to recommend to anyone expecting an actual movie.

if you thought this was going to be a cinema event that would match advent children, you are quite wrong. this feels a bit more like the spirits within, a square cash grab. plain and simple, kingsglaive is a movie follows the events of the fall of insomnia that takes place just after ffxv starts. in the end, it just serves as backstory for the game, back story that is often recited to noctis during the game on several occasions. unless you want the entire story of ffxv, i would really skip this one.

Typical steel case that contains the discs. The movie itself was very pretty to look at but the story fell flat. It got confusing at times and wasn't that interesting.

Love the special effects and animation but, the story left something to be desired. Got to watch it again; too much went into the production for this to be a flop.

Graphics are pretty good; however, the story line and plot were very confusing. If you are buying or will play the game, I would say watch the movie....if not......

Thought the story really drug out, visuals are great but after Advent Children I expected a bit more. Prepare to only watch this one once.

Great animation, voice acting, production values, barely coherent plot involving crystals and a kingdom- all the typical trappings of Final Fantasy.

Storylines okay could've been done better. The graphics is not up to the standards that they normally used in the movie. It was entertaining.

I returned this one after reading reviews if you can get Advent Children instead you can't go wrong. Thanks

The art is fantastic. The action is fast paced. Character developement is minimal. The ending says ...and now go play the game.

This movie doesnt work as a standalone at all, you need to be a final fantasy fan or be interested in the game before this is up your alley

This was a decent film but nothing spectacular. It gives some insight into the FF15 backstory but it doesn't really add that much either.

Nothing special about this movie. Quite frankly I don't remember what it was about so obviously it didn't make a big impression on me.

It was alright. Animation was amazing but the characters suck. Story isn't great either but it fills some plot holes in the game.

Couldn't catch this movie at the cinema. Release in few cities. Finally got the BR copy . Graphics are great. Story not so much .

The movie itself took too long to develop. The first 30 minutes or so, I found myself wondering when the story would progress.
