Great story lots of action the characters are funny

I didn't know what to expect when going into this movie. I certainly didn't expect it to be bad, but it turned out to be the farthest thing from bad I could expect. It's action packed like you wouldn't believe, it's clever at times and the casting (while seemingly odd at first glance) works out perfectly. Some of the most out of the world fight scenes I have ever seen are in this movie. Even when the movie slows down, rest assured there is compensation by way of excellent dialogue and a story that is actually important. That is, unless you think saving the world isn't important. Rarely does a movie catch me off guard, but I am happy to say that this one literally made my jaw drop.

Good upgrade from Blu-ray, Picture quality is nice, unfortunately the audio is the same blu-ray source which is not bad but we always feel disappointed when the UHD disc do not feature upgraded sound as well. Digital code DOES NOT redeem for UDH digital. Standard for Fox movies, and we really hate that they will not redeem for 4k digital. Far as the movie goes this is for James Bond fans, the director snubbed by the Bond producers wanted to show he had what it takes to bring the magic of Bond to the big screen, X-men First class and now his own spy series which does go over the top however the director knows exactly what is too much and how far is too far. All the fun drained out the the official Bond series long ago, this series manages to recapture some of the magic.

Best Buy won my business for this film because of the exclusive comic book that was included in specially marked/packaged copies. I almost missed the version that I was after, but thankfully was able to get one of the specially marked copies on release day. The film itself is one that several friends have been raving about and was one that I was very interested in seeing when it was in the theatres. While that didn't happen, I did keep the film on my list of movies to get on disc as soon as it was available. The trailers reminded me very much of the old "The Saint" and "Avengers" TV-series from decades past. It seemed that was what the producers were going for here.

I did not care for the trailer when it was being advertised on TV prior to movie release date. This made me not want to see the movie, but a few people I spoke to said the movie was good. I reluctantly purchased the movie quite some time after being sold in store, and to my great surprise, I LOVED the movie! It was funny, entertaining and action-packed. I also tend to not want to see a movie, in some cases, if I only know one or two actors on the movie; which was the case here. I only knew of the two main characters, the seasoned actors. I would highly recommend this movie if you're looking for action-packed, funny and cool weapons.

Clever recruiting of the next-gen federal spies. The fast paced action was Guy Ritchie spicy. The only part I didn't like is the violent scene within the church - too much of the life imitating art and art imitating life.(This film was released in Feb. 2015 and the events in SC on June 2015. Let's not create films where those who need mental help can imitate that which they see in films. - Don't be the entity that will plant the wrong seed.) Entertaining films can still be made, just keep in mind that everyone is not in the right frame of mind when they go to watch them. Pray for the best and protection and prepare for the worst for everyone.

The movie starts with a character (Eggsy) that I'm instantly annoyed by. But as the movie progresses Colin Firth's character helps Eggsy's character mature. By the end your rooting for him, and frankly the movie is a great popcorn movie with some great action. It's fun, witty, and a general good time. I do feel like the violence went to an extreme (not quite to the Kill Bill level, but still a bit further than you'd ever see in a Bond film), and the f bomb was overused. Assuming you can overlook the slightly less comfortable moments and rely on the full ridiculousness of it all to stay in the movie - it's a great time.

A rousing adventure tale of Daring-Do with more than a little modern sophistication. In a sense it's a 'coming of age' yarn, but with an English sense. SPOILER ALERT!!! I'd heard the phrase before, but the spin put on it by the character - with the understanding of what principle is being explained - made the maxim richer, to wit: "A Gentleman's name should appear in a newspaper only three times in his life: When he's born, when he's married, and when he dies". In short, this is an homage to all of the *deliberately* unsung heroes who keep the world relatively on track.

This movie stars Colin Firth, Michael Caine, and Sameul L. Jackson. It is an over the top action movie that borders on being a James Bond, spy movie spoof. This is my only gripe about the movie is it could have stood alone as a cool, stylized spy movie without trying to poke so much fun and other movies in the same genre while at the same time borrowing very heavily from those same movies. That being said, its a wild ride from start to finish, and the action seen in the church about half way through the movie will need a second watch after you finish the movie, yeah, its that amazing. This version comes with a Blu-Ray disc as well as an HD Digital Copy that can be redeemed through CinemaNow, Vudu, Flixster, or others. Its a wild ride worth watching.

In Kingsman, Harry Hart, aka Galahad, is a British secret agent who recruits a street-smart kid (Egsy) to join his organization while pursuing a villain intent on reducing the world's population. The film, which parodies early James Bond movies, contains fast motion rapidly-edited fight scenes peppered with slow-motion sequences. For example, when Harry is enjoying a pint of Guinness and street thugs walk in to beat up Egsy; and, second, a certain church scene -- both absolutely brilliant!! All-in-all it is a fun and action-packed movie.
