Saw the movie in theaters, and thought enough of it to buy it for the home. If I recall the movie makes a reference to spy movies, and we can assume it's referring to Bond stories. I just pull away from any attempts to say it's a Bond film for the modern audience. We have those already; they're called James Bond films. There is too much going on to really get in deep with back story or character development. What is it about Eggsy that makes him take to and excel at his training? Who knows? I don't, as a viewer, and I doubt the creators know either. Point is, we're not supposed to notice, or having noticed, not probe to deeply. It is after all, just a good popcorn flick.

I'd seen the movie before, and it just gets even better with repeated viewings. Funny, action-packed, and raises some questionable societal issues. The steelbook art is fantastic. It does a great job of showcasing not only the characters, but previewing a little of the story as well. Drawn by Dave Gibbons, who did the art for the comic book the movie was based on (and also the original graphic novel of Watchmen, as well), it's a spectacular piece that looks great by itself, and even better with the matching Golden Circle case.

We did not expect Colin Firth to be the next 007, but he did a good job in trying to replace Roger Craig. Strong performances by Michael Caine and Samuel Jackson made this movie worth while to watch. It was still difficult to imagine Colin Firth in his role as a super agent because we know him as an outstanding actor in more serious roles like the King of England. Similar to watching Liam Neeson in the Taken series, which has gone beyond reason when they made more than one picture with Neeson as the super Dad. At least there was some humor with Colin Firth (in the typical English style) playing the super agent, all though I don't think we can take a sequel of the Kingsman like we do the outstanding 007 series.

I entered Best Buy with the Mystery Coupon. The sales associate checked the value and told me that it was $5. I began looking for Items that I would like to purchase. I began to look for movies that I would like to watch. When I saw this movie in the bargain bin, I picked it up and proceeded to the checkout. I saw this movie before and liked it. When I went to the checkout, I was disappointed to learn that it was not discounted and someone probably put it in the bin accidentally. Well I waited in the checkout line for a while and did not want to go look for something else so I just purchased it. I did not watch it again yet but will watch it when I have the time.

As the story unfold, scams were along the path to destroy humanity. Soon, the best friend became a mentor to the young man... The movie teaches me on how to be humane to others around us. And above all, how to thrive among all odds and become a gentleman.

The movie itself is pretty good. It’s pretty much a spy movie with a rated R twist. Haven’t see the sequel yet, I want to I just haven’t gotten to yet. The steelbook is cool though, like the cartoon art.

Kingsmen takes a modern look at the secret agent story, but still pays homage to the needs of being a classic in terms of style and behavior. It is such a strange mix, but it works incredibly well. The honest trailer for this movie nails it when it says "That movie that was way better than you expected". The church scene alone should be required viewing for any upcoming filmmaker. The audio and picture on this one are near reference quality. The whole package is as smooth at the men and women of the service. A must have for any collection.

I bought both the Kingsman movies at the same time. They are kind of like James Bond only even better. I originally tried to get them from Amazon. They did not sell a DVD for the US and even the European version would take over a month to get. I cannot do streaming. The movies from Best Buy were slightly cheaper and came over two weeks sooner than Best Buy said they would. I was impressed.

This film was a surprise hit of 2015. Fantastic story, phenomenal action, intriguing characters, and amazing world building! What more could you ask for? If nothing else, this film has one of the coolest fight scenes put on screen. I picked up the steelbook option because I wanted to add it to my steelbook collection but truthfully you don't really get any additional content. So if you already own the movie, the steelbook isn't a necessity unless you are like me and just want to add it to the collection.

This movie came highly recommended from a friend who told me, and I quote 'It harkens back to the old 'Bond' movies that didn't take themselves too seriously but still had a great plot. Not that the new 'Bond' movies are bad, but this just takes you back to the old days ... but with a modern twist.' Needless to say, I was sold. Watching it was not a disappointment, it was exactly as he described. Great action (maybe just a touch gory in one particular scene), awesome comedy, and a plot that did keep you guessing until the final reveal.

The trailers didn't inspire me much, but it had good word-of-mouth reviews so I went to see it and was pleasantly surprised. Its a cross between Kick A** and James Bond and the styles are meshed perfectly, it doesn't take itself seriously at all, the acting is very well done, its funny and some of the scenes are over the top outrageous. The firework scene was my favorite and unlike anything I've seen in a movie before. I really hope there's a second film, I enjoyed the first much more than I thought I would.

A fun movie to watch. It's about a secret British spy organization, a villain who wants to rule the world [ Isn't that the plot for all spy movies? ] and a street kid headed in the wrong direction who is recruited into the spy organization. Will the kid turn his life around? Will he save the world? I think you know the answer. Samuel L Jackson is a blast as the villain. Make sure you sit through the credits in the end. Just like all the Marvel Comic movies, it has an added scene. But this scene is priceless.

If you grew up marveling at the over the top Bond villains of yesteryear and punchy comebacks by the likes of Moore and Connery ... This is the film for you. Throw in a healthy dose of Tarrentino and comic book set pieces and you have yourself a very entertaining (if hyper violent) film. Not recommended for wee ones ... But 10 and older should be fine.

This was one of my favorites movies of the year. Fun action, charismatic performances, Matthew Vaughn does an incredible job paying homage to the classic spy movies and at the same time making it feel very fresh action wise. The Bluray includes deleted scenes and a making of the movie that includes interviews with the main actors, all of whom were excellent in their roles and even Mark Hamill himself is there

A former British unrefined, but promising street kid and bad boy called Eggsy, is given a chance to be a top-secret spy for a mythical super-secret organization . His mentor,a current spy, and him battle a tech genius with diabolical plans to change the world order.. It is a bit of a stretch but well worth the money! "Manners makes the Man" - Eggsy's mentor,"Merlin", instills is him. Even in the real world today - a phase that is long forgotten by the younger generations. Overall an very good movie.

Great movie, tons of fun. Loads of entertainment throughout, never boring. However, the vulgarity in it that gave it the R rating, mainly at the very end of the movie is a disappointment. IF that was removed, the rating would be PG-13 and probably would have made more money reaching a larger audience. However, the soon to be sequel I'm excited to see. Hopefully it'll be clean enough for my teenage boys. They really wanted to see this one, but nope! Adults only!!

I wasn't really familiar with Kingsman before seeing the movie but am glad I gave the movie a chance... it's ended up being one of my favorite movies of the year. The best way to describe the movie is to say that its about a young Bond type of spy in training with some humor thrown in to appeal to a wider selection of people. At times the humor is a bit naughty but its safe to say you've probably seen naughtier stuff in other movies. I can definitely recommend checking this movie out!

This is a Blu-ray disc, it plays perfectly well in my Blu-ray player. I guess the 'SteelBook' thing is because it came in a metal box (big whoop). Maybe people collect them. Some people collect matchbooks. Or toenails. Whatever, the metal box wasn't a demand for me, and only made it more expensive, but I wanted the movie and that was the only box they had. The movie is excellent, if overly, unnecessarily profane. Gratuitous use of the F-bomb.

I had heard about Kingsmen through a peice of fan art on Facebook. I didn't give much thought to it at first as I rarely go to the movies. I happened to see the movie as I wandered around the store. I got it on a whim, and I'm thrilled I did. This movie is awesome! Action packed and fact paced. While there is a great amount of swearing, it fits the movies atmostphere. The characters are great and the plot makes sense. Great acting by all involved. Remember, Manners Maketh Man!

I thought this move was a great one with great acting and directing. I enjoyed watching the movie very much and I also purchased and watched the second movie in the series. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for an action type movie. The movie setting takes place in England which makes for a little bit of a change from the usual American locations.
