Kingsman was a surprise for me. Didn't really have the urge to see it in theaters. But I heard good things and decided to buy it when it was on sale. The additional HD digital copy was also a plus for me and love when it comes with the iTunes version. The movie was entertaining and good. It was like a James Bond movie, but less serious and more fun. Didn't regret buying this movie.

I liked the movie. colin firth, action, happy meals, lady w/sword legs slicing foes. didn't like the part where they had to SPOILERS had to shoot their own dog tho. it should have been those who did that, flunk out. but otherwise a fun, action movie. somehow they are going to resurrect colin firth, was it a fake death? he was wearing vest? we'll find out.

Another great Matthew Vaughan film. Saw Kingsman in the theater and knew I had to have on Bluray. The movie is very exciting, and sometimes comical, with an odd but hilarious performance from Samuel L. Jackson. The movie is fast-paced and violent, which Vaughan does best. Highly recommend to fans of his. Movie came with a pass to see Independence Day: Resurgence.

This one owes a lot to old spy films because it brings back the lighter tone many of those were known for back in the day. But it is not another Austin Powers. There is an overtone of seriousness in the frivolity and a lot of good (and somewhat believable - the parachute jump?) action. The mix of old and younger stars is about perfect and hopefully they will do a sequel!

When I first saw advertisements for this movie I thought it would be funny and good entertainment, however I didn't think it would be as good as it was. There was a ton of action and violence, which added to the entertainment value immensely. On top of it all, Samuel L. Jackson has a lisp! This movie is great. I definitely enjoy this spy movie taken to the next level.

Nice combo of old English/James Bond classic spy thriller with the new-school cockney badassery. Willing to overlook the farfetched plot, because that's what you do with spy movies. Samuel L. Jackson was a phenomenal bad guy, with interesting quirks (like every billionaire, I guess).

"The King's Speech" this is not, but Colin Firth still turns in a great performance. Martin Strong, Michael Cain, and Samuel L. Jackson make up the veterans in this action film which highlights a couple of newcomers in a story that's fun, flashy, and very stylish. It's crude at times but it's a welcome contrast to the prim and proper "Britishness" of the rest of the film. You may not leave a better person, but it's a lot a fun and that has to count for something.

Figured a movie about a lesser known comic would've just been a special effects driven ride and while this did have that, it also had more depth to it. The plot and characters were flushed out enough to make you care about what happens as opposed to just sitting back and watching. They joke about how over the top the old Bond movies were and this captures that feeling and adds to it. Fantastic action, great acting, and more of a plot than I expected. Enjoyed it.

A fun and slightly serious new spy series. With what hopes to be a great start turns into a slightly predictable spy jaunt. While predictable it is rather fun to go along for the ride as the action sequences are well done. All the actors involved are wonderfully good at their roles and never once failed to be an absolute pleasure to watch.

I saw this movie when it was released in February instead of that PG rated BDSM movie that was released along Kingsman. Funny thing was that my girlfriend wanted to see it too and boy were we right to see this. There was plenty of action, comedy, drama and well, I don't want to spoil it. You'll have to watch the end. A sleeper hit for sure and a much wanted purchase.

So much action and thrilling fun. Creative special effects and inventive plot. This movie was fast paced and always came up with a scene that was so much fun to watch. Loved the casting of the old (Michael Caine) with the young, handsome, and current new breed of actors. Samuel Jackson and Colin Firth are always exceptional and worth the money. 5 Stars for me!

Going into this, I wasn't sure what to expect. Once I took a chance and watched it, I really enjoyed this loose take on a comic book (which I didn't know). It's an entertaining take on the British spy genre, involving a young recruit who learns about his father's past while tackling a fun villain in Samuel L. Jackson. Although it may not seem like it in previews, it is rated R for a reason. There's an intense and violent sequence that pulls no punches.

First saw this movie in theaters, not knowing what to expect. Completely aroused my curiosity in the beginning. Eventually had my attention as the movie progressed. And finally had my full approval, love, and a guarantee of buying as soon as it came out! Now here we are! What are you waiting for?! Stop reading this and go buy this movie! Please? No? Well, I tried.

I always enjoyed this movie, find it entertaining to watch and liked all the characters. I bought the UHD 4K version but after watching it, not sure if I really noticed any gains in resolution or picture enhancements over the standard blu-ray edition. The original film was in 2.8 K and then converted down to 2K. So not sure of any benefits. I would only purchase the UHD 4K edition on sale for $20 or less (like what I did).

This movie isn't some James Bond - rip off as some may come to believe when watching the trailers. There is vulgarity, promiscuity, a meta-dialogue about growing up in a society determined by class, blunt jabs at politics and a villain with a lisp (or lithhhhp) played by none other than Samuel L. Jackson. What is not to love about it??

I found this movie to be very enjoyable if you go into it with a simple mindset looking for a fun action/comedy/spy movie. The movie even calls itself out for being a little over the top, but in a fun way. Warning, there are some parts that can be a little much for those who don't like graphic violence. Best stick to James Bond if that kind of stuff upsets you.

I bought this movie because it was on sale and it was an action movie that I could play in my theatre. Well the movie was extremely fun to watch. The action scenes are amazing. The humor in it is good as well with Samuel L doing a great job as the bad guy. Again this is an entertaining blow em up type of movie that you won't regret watching.

Good story. Fun action. Good acting. Sure it's far fetched but it's refreshing to see movies like this from time to time. If you're a fan of action along with good story telling with good dialogue, this movie is for you. I saw this in the theater and loved it. I usually wait for sales to purchase movies for home but once this came out, I bought it immediately.

Kingsman was shot in 2.8k and prepared in 2k. The bluray already looks great, the uhd improves a bit on detail and color. You wont get a massive upgrade but i felt this disc probably had more improvement than other movies that were sourced from 2k like man of steel or watchmen. Perhaps the brighter overall look of this movie gave it more pop

The product was exactly as expected with no issues in quality or condition. The movie was highly captivating with many moments of fun, yet action-packed scenes that will keep you on your toes as well as with moments of intense engaging dialogue. An exciting and memorable twist on a classic spy-like action-packed genre.
