Both times I have watched this movie I was just taken in by both the story, the acting, and the action. The humor is sprinkled in just enough to not be over the top. The action is very well done and keeps the story moving right along. The acting by everyone really got me involved in this movie and I plan to watch it many more times in the near future.

When I saw this at the movies I really enjoyed it. It was that same kind of fun I had when I saw the first "Kick a##" movie. I heard that there was going to be a sequel but I'm still waiting. I hadn't had a chance to pick this up on blu-ray so when I saw it available in the steel box packaging it was a great price that I could not resist.

I would have to say, that this movie was great in theaters; but evermore better at home. The disc provides a near reference quality 4K picture for a 2K digital intermediate transfer to 4K up convert. The sound is an excellent 7.1 DTS: HD Master Audio, with accurate placement. Wish it came with the Dolby Atmos soundtrack though.

Great action movie based on a little known comic book from the director of X-Men First Class. Has the same kind of feel as that movie with the characters learning their craft, but insane action and none of the decades of X-Men backstory to deal with. Samuel L. Jackson steals the show as always as the crazy supervillain. Definitely check this one out!

"Kingsman..." has all the nostalgia of a Bond film without even being linked to the Bond series...although let's just say that it feels like an R-rated version of a Bond film. In any case, the story line is well crafted and it also features an outstanding cast as well. I would highly recommend this film to anyone that enjoys good action!

I was missing the first movie on BluRay and that's why I purchased it. I really hope they carry on with this series as it really is a modern day James Bond film. It's filled with comedy, action and some really great filmed scenes. I wouldn't recommend this to children.

I didn't really "get" this movie the first time I saw it, but only ever heard gushing reviews, so I thought I'd give it another chance with this Blu Ray. The price was right, so I got it and would now wholeheartedly recommend this movie. Great actors, interesting story, tons of action, and a few tugs on the heartstrings, too.

I loved this movie. A kid like Bond film with a touch of a guardian angel watching over a kid growing up on the hard streets of London. It is the meeting of two worlds. One we all could live in but almost a mystical world he steps through too that only a few know about. Awesome movie but just below my love for 007s films. Needs to have a sequel.

My husband and I were truly impressed with this story. We bought this on a lark to watch while wrapping Christmas presents. We didn't get much wrapping done! It had a stunning visual quality that you just had to watch. The little nuances were neat to see. If you didn't know beforehand you would swear it was a Tarentino film!

Director Matthew Vaughn's spy film celebrates the classic Bond films while upending them as the same time. A gentleman spy (Firth) takes a street kid under his wings, convinced that he join the ranks of his secret organization and help defeat an eccentric billionaire (Samuel L Jackson) who has a very unique way to stop global warning. Great action and a lot of fun. The Blu-Ray looks and sounds great and has some solid extras.

Kingsman is a solid film, seemingly an homage and subversion of the Roger Moore/Sean Connery age of Bond movies. Thoroughly enjoyable, at times irreverent, and a little bit brutal in action, with a fun soundtrack, and engaging performances from Samuel L Jackson and Colin Firth in particular, it's easy to enjoy.

With an all-star cast including Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, and Michael Caine, you can't go wrong! Throw in newcomer Taron Egerton as the lead, you know this kids got a bright future ahead of him as he more than holds his own sharing scene after scene with these acting juggernauts. Oh and the action.... is ******* AMAZING!

'Kingsman: The Secret' is another great choice to be one of the first Ultra HD Blu-rays. This post-modern deconstruction of the spy franchise is brutal, bloody, and a blast from start to finish. As an Ultra HD Blu-ray, I would argue this HDR 10 4K presentation bests its Blu-ray counterpart in every way. Resolution is sharper. Colors more vivid. Gradients smooth.

I wanted to see this movie in the theater but didn't get a chance to. To my delight this movie did not disappoint when I watched on Blu Ray. Action from beginning to end with a intricate plot and great acting. If you are a fan of spy movies and the James Bond franchise you will definitely love this movie. Be prepared for graphic violence.

I really enjoyed this movie. Similar to Alex Rider, this movie had some fun, action, and at times crude humor, but was overall a good popcorn movie. No awards will be won with this movie but it sure was entertaining. Pick it up for a good addition to your DVD library and enjoy one night when you want some popcorn and a good laugh.

I was watching this movie on HBO one day and only seen bits and pieces. However from what I seen impressed me so much I went out and purchased the movie. I think it blended all the things that people liked about James Bond movies of the 1960's and gave it a somewhat comedy flair. I would highly recommend this movie

I was rewarded with lots of eye candy. The video quality is outstanding. The special effects are to die for... literally, I would categorize the movie is a black comedy with lots of action. If you like that kind of movie, you'll love this feature.

This movie had mixed review in my household. I liked it and thought it was fun. Others thought it was too violent. I think it was designed to be a fun ride and it is. The 4K transfer is pretty good. Not totally consistent but mostly good. Since movies themselves are so subjective, I always give my star ratings based on the picture quality and quality of the transfer itself.

I found this movie to be very entertaining with a real solid story line. At times it was a bit outlandish or far fetched but still extremely good. SPOILER ALERT: The only problem I had was with what took place during the church scene. The graphic violence was a bit much and it seemed to be unnecessary. Still it was extremely good.

If you're looking for a film festival winning movie with deep meaning and some kind of hidden allegorical enlightenment, move along. If you want a wonderfully entertaining, tongue in cheek, over the top, action movie with laughs and just pure fun, buy this movie. It's every bit as good as the first.
