I’m really impressed with this microwave! It heats food evenly and quickly, and the controls are super easy to use. The design looks great on my kitchen, it was super easy to install and it’s surprisingly quiet. I also appreciate the range of presets—it takes the guesswork out of reheating or defrosting. Highly recommended

Just remodeled our kitchen and this KitchenAid Built-in Microwave is So Pretty. It looks so “cute” built-in right next to our new KitchenAid double wall oven, because they look alike, just a smaller version. The Stainless Steel is very nice and prettier than other brands I’ve look at, so shiny. I also love that it includes the Stainless Steel frame to install this in a bigger size opening. Usually, you have to buy that separately. Not only is it Beautiful, but it works perfectly. We just had it installed a couple of weeks ago and have only used it a few times, but have had no problems. This KitchenAid Microwave is well built and I am very pleased with our purchase.

Our first unit wasn’t working correctly. Thanks to the Geek Squad protection had a new unit in a reasonable amount of time (custom order item). We’ve had the microwave / convection oven for a few months now. It is amazing! Beyond the basic functions I find many of the advanced features very useful. The convection part of the oven cooks frozen food fantastically. Frozen egg rolls, pizza, other items come out with crispy crusts and have never tasted better. The steamer function has done a great job with fresh corn on the cob. It tends to over cook other vegetables if left for the entire cycle (at least for my taste), but I just take them out early. The major problem I have this product is that I’m always looking for new stuff to cook in it. Installers were great and very accommodating. One warning, you need a 220v outlet for this microwave. This unit is expensive but worth it. Have gotten rid of my countertop toaster oven and great for small Baked items, don’t have to use the full size oven as much. As a bonus, it looks great in the kitchen.

We bought this as a replacement of the same model that went bad after 10 years, at first the LED lights started acting weird, then missing LED lights that made it hard to tell the time remaining. Alas, the buttons intermitently not working so we had to replace it. Wanted to buy another brand but due to the built in cabinetry, it would have required modification, therefore purchased the same unit hoping they have improved the quality otherwise it functions quieytly and effeciently.

The microwave is good. it is a built in and with the door opening out it is often hard to move food in and out, especially if you are a shorter person

Looks and Quality are Great! Little pricey and user interface is difficult to learn. If you mount it over your oven like we did it is hard to reach items inside due to the height and the drop down door. Side opening door if possible would have better.

The microwave from KitchenAid is great. It heats up food quickly and the pre-defined functions work accurately as well. The only down side for us was its door's inability to open fully at a perfect 90 degree. This prevented an easy access to the inner plate to place the food trays

I wanted an under the counter microwave as a replacement for my microwave/oven combo. I am so glad I opted for this and not the drawer microwave (this one opens by pulling handle down) since food never seems to heat throughly in the drawer type. This one is easy to use and clean. I have not tried the convection oven part but I am sure it works just as well.

Though it is more expensive than regular microwave, it is worth it. Make my kitchen looks modern and beautiful. Easy to use. Cool down by itself. Love it.

Very beautiful oven, a small bit of discoloration on the stainless from the adhesive protective covering but I am hopeful with time and numerous cleanings with stainless steel cleaner this will disappear. Works very well and we love the way it looks in our new kitchen. The first oven came with a cracked oven door and we were able to get a new oven delivered within a week, Thank you so much to Joshua at Best Buy in Fort Lauderdale who did an amazing job!!!

Nice unit. Had to run direct 240V line that I was not expecting to do. Door would not open without using spacer kit.

I find these built ins overpriced for what you get. But it does look really classy as a built in. Do not like have the fan runs on and on if you run the micro for more than 3 minutes at a time. But it is what it is.

Good product though a little pricey. Not much choices for our existing product

I am disappointed with the features of this Kitchen Aid model. My previous microwave which was also a Kitchen Aid had much better features. I do like the fact that I can microwave and do convection baking, but not nearly as complete with options as my previous model. If I were you I would look at other manufacturers at Best Buy. I do love Best Buy and their sales representatives in store are great. Customer service over the phone is horrible.

I begrudgingly bought this to match our other KA units. It works fine but wish it had more flexible and individual buttons than just waiting for the display to scroll through options. It works and heats well though.

Is it a microwave? Is it a convection oven? Is it the right size? Is it good looking? Yes to all. We've only had it for a few months but so far so good. Dedicated 20 amp circuit, plenty of power.

I love the ability to cook with the convection aspect instead of just straight microwaving which doesn’t cook evenly. I’m in love with this kitchen Aid .. it’s really an oven instead of just plain microwave... love the defrosting as well... for once a company had made a product which allows you to actually defrost and not cook at the same time... amazing!! I could go on and on and have great things to ad. However look up the features on this product and you will be amazed! You get so much more than you pay for... KitchenAid has never disappointed... each year they out do themselves keeping the price down and allowing us to be so happy we didn’t buy Viking products ! There I said it.. love Viking and wolf I just don’t like their price ! We are working class people and are savers. ... Thanks kitchen Aid
