This is third kitchenaid microwave we have owned. Have downgraded a bit with this one because we have had browning and grilling capable as well as convection capable units before but never used these functions. Wife does like the interface on this unit as well as 16 sensor buttons. Last one had touch screen..This unit gave us a scare second day in use the display went out,the unit worked but no screen. Later that night came back on and not happened again.Also like the large dish.I notice the smaller wattage of 1000 compared to our last witch was 11000.Because of glitch with screen and lower power this unit gets 4 stars.

We bought this microwave to replace another that wa damaged by a lightening strike. This microwave is so much quieter and seems to heat everything more evenly. It does a really good job of quickly heating individual serve meals for the kids after school, and is a master at microwave popcorn! When we purchased it there was a sale so it was an even better value than expected!

This microwave is great. It has all the right bells and whistles. Although, the fan is a bit loud when on high.

This microwave is amazing! Senses when things are thoroughly heated and cooks them perfectly. Love the rack inside to be able to heat multiple things at once. 10/10

I just love my new Kitchen Aid microwave, so many features and ease of use make it a win-win in today's kitchen for every level chef, it has an excellent price point. Kitchen Aid is known for making superior appliances and I have enjoyed using many of them in my own kitchen for years.

Nice looking. Easy to install. The auto fan goes on when i use the stove. Very quiet.

Lots of features, looks good and operates quietly . What more do you need from a microwave

We have owned this microwave since we built our house four years ago. Never had an issue out of it and love it.

We have had this for about a month and it gets used many times a day. A great replacement for our old microwave. Works well in sensor mode. Fan is relatively quiet and the size works well in our kitchen. Easy to see clock and it has an ample light to illuminate the stove. A little larger than most microwaves.

This might be the best microwave we have ever had. We replaced our Samsung, which only lasted 2 years. Easy-to-read installation instructions. Cooking is pretty even. The turntable operates smoothly, and the timer alert is pleasant-sounding. Easy to clean.

All and all this is a great microwave. It was considerably larger than our previous unit but it looks like all new microwaves are larger. You may need to do some work to avoid tile and make sure a large pot will fit if you're upgrading from an older mircowave but we definitely prefer it to the super slim version.

We shopped for a lot of different microwaves- we were surprised with the quality of most mid-range priced microwaves. This one is not poor quality and it’s the first microwave we’ve had that has not cooked the meet when we’ve used the defrost. It is a bit bigger then most microwaves but we adjusted to the size almost immediately. We would definitely buy this again.
