No, I would not recommend this to a friendPretty Good - issue with freezer sealing

Thankfully Best Buy agreed to exchange it for another fridge.

Counter Depth Refrigerator

You need to put the shelves in on your own and still trying to figure out how to allow tall items; same with the door shelves. Water dispenser inside the unit vs outside. Not as much freezer space. Ice maker has two levels on speed.

Cheaply made garbage

New model has been cheaply made in everway. Ice maker freezes up condenser. Have to turn it off or temp climbs in freezer. I am changing out all my appliances and will never by kitchenaid again.
