    We loved this unit and it broke our heart. The freezer never reached its prescribed temperature in the one month we had it. We found out it had a bad compressor out of the box. Kudos to Best Buy/Pacific Sales for stepping up and replacing it immediately with no hassle. Now we will try to love again with the new one they are delivering next week. Long time Kitchen-Aid fans so we have our fingers crossed. Hopefully it is just an aberration.

    The refrigerator is very nice. Every other element of the experience was at the lowest rating. Poor interface from the sales floor to the warehouse to the delivery service. Al seemed like they were independent contractors and had no interest in coordinated service.

    The compressor is extremely loud and sounds like darth vader. I've had it replaced repeatedly. The shelves have plastic holders that easily smash. Do not buy
