Very quiet. Easily accessible on/off switch on icemaker to turn off at night. Lots of shelf space on doors. Shelf space is excellent. Left side door can open without having to open right side door first. Ample freezer space.

The refrigerator is everything I wanted. Waist high vegetable access, long cheese drawer, adjustable shelves, sturdy basket in the freezer, easy to clean, attractive design.

This KitchenAid refrigerator replaced a three year old GE bottom freezer. I was struggling to get the single door to the fridge opened. To close it I had to give it a butt push.
I really liked the way GE looked but once loaded the door became heavy and hard to handle. I really love this KitchenAid. It is counter depth and the side panels are grey instead of black which blends well with my new kitchen.

For me ,this refrigerator was to small on the refrigerator side,especially being 20 cubic feet . Shelves are narrow, freezer was deep and not easy for placement. Good ice-maker and had ice within one hour !

After our house flooded with Hurricane Harvey the one thing I was excited about ordering were new appliances. I love the styling, features, and quality of KitchenAid products and was thrilled to purchase the 25.8 Cu. Ft. French Door refrigerator (KRMF706ESS), the beautiful dishwasher with a 3rd rack (KDTE304GPS), the 30" Double Oven with convection (KODE500ESS), and an enormous Microwave with a removable shelf for lots of options (KNHP519ESS) which had a special cherry cabinet built around it. Our kitchen was finally ready, just in time for Christmas 2018.
The refrigerator was the first to have issues, with the ice maker leaking, stopping, freezing the entire thing up which had to be thawed with a hair dryer. We replaced the ice container 6/20, motor, seal and shaft 8/20, I/M leaking and stopped cooling on both sides 6/22. In August 2023 the entire fridge had quit working correctly and would have cost over 1K for parts which 'might' have solved the issue.
Sadly our wonderful microwave started making a loud noise and quit running October 2023 and the technician gave us the news that the Magnetron shorted, and couldn't be fixed. We have a whole house surge protector so we know it wasn't caused by electrical issues.
Now in the summer of 2024 our dishwasher quit working correctly. The motor has died in the main wash assembly. It would cost more than $600 as the entire bottom of the unit must be replaced.
Since 3 of our 4 expensive KitchenAid appliances have failed I asked the technician about our very pricy oven which he warned us that if the heating element on the bottom goes out, the removal and repair for it will be astronomical, because of the way it is constructed.
[ ] I absolutely love these appliances, they were all top notch and had every feature I could ever want, but I can't believe that I have spent over $10,000 and am having to replace 3 of the 4 in less than 6 years!

Bad customer service

I purchased this refrigerator with a three week wait on delivery. A few days after I purchased it I was informed it would take another four weeks before I received it. I was then billed for it before I could receive it. Not good customer service!
