I went through three KitchenAid refrigerators before finding this one. I needed counterdepth and one side was against a wall so the door hinges needed to open inward without the extra clearance. If you're in a tight spot this is the refrigerator for you. Can't speak to quality just yet but it is pretty good looking for a fridge.

Love this refrigerator overall. My only complaint is shelf space in refrigerator portion. The shelf spacing makes it hard to put tall items on top shelf. Lower shelf space is limited.

I needed a specific size, side by side, to fit an existing opening. That limited my choices, otherwise I would not have bought a whirlpool in the first place. I am so sorry I did buy it! The unit properly functioned for one day then the frig side froze up and everything in the frig spoiled. I called Best Buy looking for help they referred me to the manufacturer. Whirlpool referred me to a factory authorized repair service. It took a week for him to come and tell me the frig was frozen and there was nothing they could do unit it thawed. I had to thaw for two days then start it up for a day before using it. I did that then on the third day the little ice that was made during the one day of operation was melting and the frig was at 46 degrees. I shut it down again and called Whirlpool. I talked to Maya in Georgia who literally laughed at my complaints about the unit. I then spoke to a supervisor, Ronald, at Whirlpool headquarters in Michigan. I explained I had the unit for 2 plus weeks and it did not work for more than 24 hours. Ronald literally could not care less about my inconvenience of being without the unit for more than two weeks. All he offered was for the repair service to come back a week later and $150. gift card for my inconvenience. I explained living without a fridge for 3 weeks was more than an inconvenience given i spent $2500 on a new one that was in my house but didn't work. To be clear even if I had bought the extended protection it wouldn't have made a difference because in the first year Best Buy refers you back to the manufacturer's warranty. The treatment I received from Whirlpool was awful, but I also wish that Best Buy told me when I first called them that within the first 15 days I could have returned this lemon to the store and they would have taken it back. BTW the repairman was not at all surprised that the unit was faulty. He said he has been so busy over the last few months repairing whirlpools that's why it takes more than a week to get an appointment. unless you are a glutton for punishment stay away from this frig and whirlpool products. Next time I'll tear down a wall and make space for a better brand rather than deal with these clowns.

This purchase replaced another Kitchen Aid counter depth refrigerator that I had for 10 years. It was completely problem free during that time and I would not have replaced it except an electrician who was working at my house blew it up when he rewired the circuit breaker it was on to 220 instead of 110. His company paid to replace it, and because I had such good luck the first time I purchased the brand I replaced it with the same thing.

Operating well now, but when it delivered, the water dispenser would continue to dribble out. A repairman came right away, but we had to wait for the replacement part to come in. Turns out the replacement part was an upgrade to the deficient part used in the original manufacture. Not good.

Really wanted a side by side because the freezer drawers are not fun to dig through. I like the counter depth so it doesn’t stick out from the counter. Wine rack is cool.

The Black Stainless Stel finish is amazing! Looks great, the fridge is huge and super quiet. Lots of features and runs like a charm.

This fridge is exactly as described. Very happy with water and ice dispensing. Since it is only my husband and I, it holds all we need.

Limited to the size I could purchase, but this just fits. It's smaller inside than the one we replaced, so hoping this works out. And I have heard that they've had issues with the water works on the door, but hoping it's been resolved.

The counter depth really does look nice when installed next to kitchen counters, and it looks beautiful.

Technically there is nothing wrong with this refrigerator. It looks sleek, water/ice function is great, freezer is cold! Everything works as it should. Yet I kind of hate it! Due to door size in my kitchen I was forced into getting this counter depth unit, and it's just SMALL inside. I lost a few Cubic ft, which I didn't think would be such a big deal, but it's huge. Also the door storage is very awkward and the door shelves are only minimally adjustable so things I used to store on the door of my old refrigerator now take up the already limited shelf space. All because my door opening was 1/2 inch too narrow. On top of that the counter depth units are a lot more expensive for some reason

Delivery and installation went very smoothly. The side by side refrigerator seems more roomy than the French door refrigerator.

Fits well with my other kitchen aid appliances although they no longer make the professional grade handles that match existing appliances . Water line seems noisy so need to check into that. Will see if it holds up well over time

For this to be a counter depth refrigeration it has a lot of space in both the freezer and refrigerator. Love it!

Great fridge. Lots of lighting. Measured fill on the water. Smaller than standard depth but that was expected. Only issue was water dispenser randomly quit working less than 1 month in. Best Buy replaced it for free without question.

I've owned the refrigerator for about 4 weeks and really like it. I bought it to replace an earlier version of the same refrigerator I have had for 10 years. The newer version seems bigger inside and is brighter inside and is quieter.

Got this during Labor Day Sale and so far so good. The design is sleek and drawers are sturdy. It can be noisy at times but overall good and hope it lasts!

Like the smaller ice cubes. Cannot hear it running. Wider but depth could be improved by moving center bar in back to side. Great door capacity. Drawers are made of flimsy plastic that I am nervous may crack easily.

This is a beautiful refrigerator and I receive compliments each time I have guest over to see my kitchen remodel. The drawers inside are very lightweight and flimsy. I was expecting something more sturdy for the price of the refrigerator.

Fantastic refrigerator. The features are awesome. Great price. Very attractive looking. Holds plenty of food.
