The only reason we bought new ones is because we remodeled our house and old one doesn't fit the new kitchen anymore. The refrigerator works wonderfully.

We purchased the first refrigerator in 2018. After the 1st year, the water valve was replaced 3 times. Also replaced the entire back panel control after waiting 6+ months for a part and it didn't resolve the main issue that the temperature within the top part of the refrigerator was getting above 52 degrees. The lights also do not work now. Several attempts to service it over the last 2+ years have been made. We were trying to give Kitchen aid the benefit of the doubt that we just got a lemon the first time (understanding that availability of parts and techs has been difficult) and purchased a new refrigerator, same model. We received it on 11/29/22 and are again experiences the same issues. The top part of the refrigerator is getting up to 48 degrees with barely anything in it. We are extremely disappointed with the product that costs $4,700 and expect more out of KitchenAid :(

WORST PURCHASE EVER!

CALLED GEEK SQUAD AND EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE EXTENDED PLAN WHICH I PURCHASED THEY STATED I HAD TO GO THROUGH MY MANUFACTURER DURING THE FIRST YEAR. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED DURING MY PURCHASE. KITCHEN AID TECHNICIAN CONFIRM THE COMPRESSOR BROKEN AND THIS MODEL IS KNOWN FOR THIS. TOTAL HEADACHE WITH THIS BUY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MODEL TO FRIENDS OR FAMILY.

Good size for a small family with enough space for milk gallon or bottle sodas with the adjustable shelve.
