worst fridge ever

But now it stopped cooling. Fridge is under warranty but I have to go through Best Buy’s appointed third party technician which has been awful to deal with and has Yelp reviews describing them as “absolutely horrible”, “bad experience”, “LIARS”, and worse. Looks like my timeline will be ~2 months without a fridge in the middle of summer. If I find my own technician it will void the warranty. I just want a fridge that works. Stay far away from this one.

I've only ever cleaned with KitchenAid recommended cleaner. I purchased the Geek Squad warranty - it was very easy to get someone to come over and check out the damage; however I was told the additional warranty does not cover rust. Now I have a $4k fridge with rust spots, which is a great compliment to a $60k kitchen remodel. Would have expected better from Kitchen Aid and Best Buy. Otherwise, works fine.

Quality Refrigerator

Supply chain problems kept us from ordering this for months but it was worth the wait. The quality of the components makes the higher price worth it. Note to anyone buying this - it takes about 24 hours for the fridge and freezer to fully get to the temperature (including making ice).

We purchased an entire kitchen Aid set of appliances for nearly $14k and within two years trim pieces have fallen off shelves have cracked and two of them have been replaced under warranty. Currently I am trying to get the cracked shelf in the refrigerator repaired because the plastic support deformed and broke. Also the double wall oven trim piece deformed and fell off. Really let down with the quality of these items and afraid of how long they will last now that the warranty is expiring. i Also purchased the total tech membership but it was mysteriously cancelled right at the end of the manufacturer warranty before i every got a chance to use it. I would not recommend purchasing these
