The BIGGEST and I tell you the BIGGEST mess up that the manufacture did was to not check the level of noise. I mean it's so loud you can hear it from my bedroom. People would come over and ask what is that noise? yes, it's the fridge. Cheaper models don't even make that noise. I wonder why they don't fix this issue? Trust me do not buy this model. We returned it twice.

Food freezes in the fridge area and now there's a loud clacking noise coming from inside the fridge. I couldn't be more disappointed. Do not buy!

Rusts

I've only ever cleaned with KitchenAid recommended cleaner. I purchased the Geek Squad warranty - it was very easy to get someone to come over and check out the damage; however I was told the additional warranty does not cover rust. Now I have a $4k fridge with rust spots, which is a great compliment to a $60k kitchen remodel. Would have expected better from Kitchen Aid and Best Buy. Otherwise, works fine.

Stopped working in less than 2 years

But now it stopped cooling. Fridge is under warranty but I have to go through Best Buy’s appointed third party technician which has been awful to deal with and has Yelp reviews describing them as “absolutely horrible”, “bad experience”, “LIARS”, and worse. Looks like my timeline will be ~2 months without a fridge in the middle of summer. If I find my own technician it will void the warranty. I just want a fridge that works. Stay far away from this one.
