This fridge is well designed and done elegantly. It’s easy to open but not so where you are wondering if it’s closed well. The shelving is well done and optimizes space extremely well. The freezer is also well organized. The only thing is the freezer is a tad small. The water function is fantastic. It has pre-measured options if you know how much water you need. It dispenses water neatly without splatter. Having an American made appliances is far better to have than cheap Korean brand for one simple reason (aside from being made in America) is that it’s much easier to get parts (when that time comes).

love this fridge! the lighting is amazing and everything is easy to find. if you like a lot of ice, you may want to get a countertop ice maker too. love the looks, love the chill

Beautiful frig that has a premium look but a premium price as well. It’s very quiet when running. The cubes are about as small as sugar cubes so crushed isn’t necessary. Only complaint is the water placement is too close to the front door which can lead to drips down the front.

Beautiful fridge, but I can only score it a 2 because the ice maker is terrible. It freezes up so the mechanism cannot turn, it produces too-thick trays of ice that will not break up, and there is now a water leak out the side of the front compartment that drains quickly onto the floor. For what this things costs, I should not be having these issues.

This KitchenAid refrigerator is absolutely gorgeous. It has all the bells and whistles. .pull out tray, bins for convenience and functionality. Easy water & ice dispenser, stainless look on the inside. Freezer has a large capacity, easy to find items. It's a must have.. and counter depth for that custom built-in look. Love it! And the delivery guys were fantastic. They carried it up a steep driveway, then up two flights of stairs! They unpacked it & assembled it carefully, showed me the features and wiped their prints off of it! Very professional!

If you are reading this review, I beg you. DO NOT BUY this fridge. I know it is beautiful and you will hope that it doesn't break with you, but it will. Ours broke down completely after exactly 13 months we bought it. KitchenAid was gracious enough to offer a 1 time only repair as a courtesy since we didn't have an extended warranty (We had BestBuy total tech.. Keep reading). As I'm writing this review, the technician just left our place and if you don't believe me, believe him: "This fridge is horrible. Buy the extended warranty, you will need it". FYI, the extended warranty is $250 per year. We are now waiting for a Compressor and a Drier. And if you are like us and signed up for BestBuy total tech as it is only $180 per year and it covers all appliances (We bought all appliances for a kitchen and a laundry from them) bear in mind that even though they do fix things, they are very busy. For the Fridge, we were able to secure an appointment 20 days in the future and that was just to diagnose the issue. Then they would request the parts and schedule another appointment. So if we were to use BestBuy, it would mean ~40 days without a fridge. I cancelled that as I was able to get KitchenAid to help. So be smart.. Best to get something with a higher rating and even better, try talking to a appliance repair shop. They know what is good out there.

We were blown away by how pretty this refrigerator was and the fact it was Kitchenaid, which we trusted as the last ones we had still worked after 20 years. Sadly, 3 months out of the year warranty, it stopped making ice, then the freezer stopped and a day later the refrigerator too. We called Best Buy as we did purchase an extended warranty. Repair came and diagnosed the bad compressor. Then condenser. Then evaporator. Today repair will come again and replace more parts! We have been without our beautiful box for almost 3 weeks now. From what the repair told us, this model and the others like it have faulty compressors. Kitchenaid used a different compressor on this design and they are faulty. If you are considering this model, think again, or at least get the extended warranty. What trouble this is to even complain to the right parties...going to complain to kitchenaid too.

I really wanted to love this fridge because it’s beautifully designed and the rest of my kitchen is KitchenAid products. It’s been 9 months with this fridge and I am having the same issues over and over again. Like many other reviewers noted - it doesn’t do it’s most important job - which is keeping your food cold! The first warning sign was that ice machine stopped working. Then I noticed that the food in the freezer melted. Then the temperature of the fridge was 20 degrees above what I had set to be. Had someone come in January to fix the issue - which took two visits and having to wait almost a month for parts. It’s May and I am having the same issue again. What good is a fridge if your food constantly goes bad? I’m so sad and at this point wish that I could get a completely new and different fridge. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this fridge.

Well thought out design, a place for everything. So spacious, i like the freezer on the bottom, puts the refrigerator space at eye level. Very pricey, hope it lasts.

Beautiful inside and out. Functional, innovative and good capacity, but who couldn’t use a little more room in the fridge? Wish the shelves had a little more adjustment capability, but other than that, it is a great fit for my family and kitchen.

Great fridge. Well lit, spacious and convenient. Water and ice features work great. Very pleased.

Sometimes the motor kicks in and it can get a little loud. The left side door close is a little loud and jarring. Love the ice and other features. Inside is beautiful.

I like this refrigerator very much. It has many good features. However, the icemaker broke down at the 11 month point. It cannot be fixed. The entire door on the side where the icemaker is must be replaced. The repair man said 30 out of 40 appliances that he fixes every week are less than one year old and that the replacement parts are better than the originals. Thank goodness this broke down before one years time, however, KitchenAid has a good limited warranty for up to 10 years. One of the few.

Hi. The refrigerator is quite nice with flexible shelving, convenient and easy. Lots of storage , doors are sturdy with ample storages space. However two minor problems. 1. The right bottom fruit bin does not close all the way when using the auto close feature. appears the right side of the bin doesn’t completely close. 2. The lighting in the freezer draw is wholly inadequate. Barely see what’s in there at night. Needs another light fixture not just one that can display the entirety of the freezer. Or higher amp light bulb. Thanks

Love the lights on inside. Great shelf space. Doors open wide to fit large platters in surprise pull out container if you want to marinate meats. Freezer give a lot of space Easy to pull drawer open even when full of frozen items.

I love this refrigerator! The inside is platinum with a wood trim tray. Not your traditional white inside. Good size as well, not too big or too small. Could have used more space in bottom freezer, but still holds enough.

I love my new refrigerator! Lots of room and great for the space I have in my kitchen!! The coating on the outside of my black fridge creates no smearing or water stains!! I only wish the ice maker was bigger!

Had to replace the French door fridge we had because it quit working after 4 years. Found this one and really like it! Fingerprints are much less noticeable and easy to wipe off. Looks great and works perfect.

DO NOT BUY, unless you like spoiled food and not having a working fridge for months on end. This is my second one. The first lasted exactly a year. Ice maker was repaired twice, Compressor failed. Kitchen Aid was unable to repair. The local subcontracted service company couldn't even obtain parts. Says it's a sealed system and cannot be serviced. Like a fool I bought a new one also from Best Buy again. (They are great, KA is horrible) only because the entire kitchen was also Kitchen Aid, everything matched down to my cabinet handles. Everything from my cabinets to the appliances were brand new. Oven was repaired twice before it was replaced. Dishwasher came in damaged twice, compactor was damaged in delivery also. Microwave is great, never a problem. New refrigerator lasted 45 days before it started making noise again. Paradise appliance diagnosed as a failed temp sensor. I'm still without a fridge now for going on 3 weeks. Its worked 6 out of 9 weeks of owning. Paradise says this unit uses a conventional compressor that is of traditional design. Not as the last unit. Buyer beware, it's probably the most glamorous unit inside, ice maker is rubbish, Capacity is only a few cups. Takes the day to replenish. KitchenAids did ultimately buy the first unit back, took nearly 8 weeks to pick up and issue a refund check. So from having all appliances aside from microwave fail or arrive damaged to having to be financially burdened to buy another unit within a year to waiting forever for old unit to be picked up from the middle of my garage, Id say KA is a horribly unreliable good looking poorly made product. Bring back my parents avocado green Kenmore. Lasted for decades
