It stopped working after 5 uses. Door would not close, light remained on 24/7 and control panel buttons randomly worked. Repairman stated if I fixed one part, it could affect another part, which would lead to a domino affect of repeat service repair needs. Sad to pay $1500 for a microwave that stopped working within 3 days of install. However, luckily I paid for the Geek service as the microwave was under a 15 day return/exchange policy and I was a few days pass the policy. Could have been stuck with a $1500 lemon. Crossing fingers replacement will not be a repeat of poor operations.

I would expect a $1700 microwave to last longer than two years but no, stopped working 3 months after the one year expired. My wife and I are 70 years old with an air fryer, oven and stove so the microwave is very rarely used. Now it does not heat. No help or assistance from Best Buy or Kitchaaid even though i am a long standing member of Best Buy club. This unit has problems and i do NOT recommend.

I recently remodeled our kitchen. My designer recommended a drawer microwave to save space on my counter. When I saw the demo in the kitchen showroom. I thought, this is really cool and it will give me more room on my counter. I should have done the research first. I did not check the cost :(. The space was made for a "drawer microwave", but I was not ready to spend the $$$ for a drawer microwave. Our old one was working fine and it fit in the space just fine. Well, the old microwave stopped working and I was forced to spend the money and get the one that was made for the under the counter cut out. We love the cool drawer feature. The settings choices are great. This microwave heat up our food better than any microwave I have used.

This microwave drawer looks great in my kitchen. The drawer is easy to use, at a perfect level for everyone in the house, and fits just right in our IKEA cabinet base. Very please thus far.

While I was in sticker shock when I saw the price tag, I will say I love the microwave and the ability to have it in the Island.

We really love this microwave. It installed into our microwave specific cabinet in minutes. I like how you can either press the open/close or give it a pull/push and it will open/close. Fairly quite as well. The cooking appears to be very even since it comes from the top and does not require a turn table inside. My only suggestion for a future version would be to backlight the keypad.

The Control panel only lights up in the center. Very hard to see control panel. My Sharp control panel flipped up and was easy to see.

Didn't think I would like a drawer microwave. however it is really a nice to have in the cabinet instead of over the range (especially if you are vertically challenged). Does the job as promised.

This microwave replaced our 11 year old Sharp microwave drawer. Everything seems very comparable to our older model except for the flush front. Frequently I lean on it to grab something from the cabinets above and push a button by accident. Otherwise everything is great!

KitchenAid is simply the best. Clean lines, great features.

If you are looking for a quality drawer microwave, this is it. Quality is awesome and the features are outstanding. I havent used much of it yet but just the initial use is fun. Installation notes, ensure your cabinets are measured correctly for proper fit.

This is the best microwave for under counter. Fit neatly and has a very nice appearance.

After using the above counter cooktop microwave ovens for years, we decided to try out the drawer microwave in stainless steel. My Wife is 5'6" and this drawer microwave is very easy for her to use in comparison to the antiquated white cupboard height model we had and replaced it with a new stainless steel and chrome vent hood. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

The design and performance are weak at best. We purchased the KitchenAid Appliances for our new kitchen/home because we thought would be great quality. Unfortunately, it is not the case. The directions and quick links are difficult to read as they are too low and too dark. One needs to bend over too much and turn on bright lights. There is no backlight.the temperature regulator is way off. Good is way to hot and then dry to eat. The sensor boils a half cup of tea. If I had to do over, I would buy the Sharp. The design is more user friendly. The functions are better placed and turn up toward user. . Because I wanted all KitchenAid appliances , I opted for this drawer microwave. Huge mistake.
