Customers are saying

Customers highly value this 24" Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance. The third rack and ease of use are also frequently praised features. However, some customers have noted that the cycle time is longer than expected, and there have been some concerns raised regarding the soap dispenser and motor durability.

Love the dishwasher. It is beautiful and cleans very well. Super quiet. Holds quite a bit and is easy to use. Would repurchase. The black stainless finish is fabulous.

My old Kitchenaid disappointed me after all people’s rave reviews. I took a chance and tried again and I love this dishwasher. So quiet, so clean, everything spotless. I guess my last was a dud but it was almost 11 years old but it never cleaned as well as this one does.

I love this dishwasher! It's quiet, but cleans great. The third rack is perfect for my kids cup lids and odd shaped utensils. The adjustable top rack is great for adjusting to fit large cups on top or large bowls and pans on the bottom. It's a longer running time than my old dishwasher, but gets things cleaner and drier! Installation was great as well, the people who installed it were quick and efficient, but took the time to go over everything with me at the end and ensure I knew how to utilize it to its fullest.

I have had my KitchenAid dishwasher for a month now. I am quite pleased so far. It is very quiet and does a through job. Only down side is it takes over 2 hours, but that is standard these days on newer dishwashers, not a problem though.

My new dishwasher was recently installed and fingers crossed it performs well over the years. Thus far, it runs quietly and does a thorough job of cleaning (although I thoroughly rinse the dishes prior to inserting into the dishwasher!).

I love this dishwasher. It cleans really well and it is very quiet. It's also much bigger than my old 17 year old that finally gave out. Didn't realize my old one didn't do a very good job. Dishes sparkled on the first use.!!

This is our second KitchenAid dishwasher. The first lasted 20 years. This unit has greater capacity that the first. It does run longer, on a comparable cycle, that our first one did. Dishes are always clean and dry. Its also very quiet. It includes a shelf in the top of the unit for flatware etc. There is a third water arm for this shelf that ensures these items are washed just as well as the dishes in the two trays below.

I love the third rack! The top shelf has ball bearings, so glides smoothly and with little effort, and is adjustable. The downside is if you lower the top rack, you can't fit larger items on the bottom rack at the same time. The dishwasher is extremely quiet, and does an excellent job of cleaning. One of the few dishwashers with a true heating element, items (especially plastic) are not wet or spotty after washing. It's simple design would work in any kitchen.

This is the perfect dishwasher for my open floorplan, it is sooo very quiet, and good thing there is a status on the front so I know it's running. Simple clean design and easy to use. Not crazy about the top rack that the installer recommended using for silverware. It only gets clean on the bottom. No problem, I prefer using the silverware basket. Very pleased with this purchase.

I've had this dishwasher for 2 weeks. The dishes come out squeaky clean. It's quiet. The control panel is simple to use. I love the 3rd rack on top for knives, long-handled spoons, spatulas, etc. The plastics come out dry unlike my previous ASKO. Unless something goes wrong down the road, I'll buy another for the new house we're building. My only complaint is that the middle drawer sticks a bit as it slides in and out.

I love the look of this handle-less dishwasher. The third top shelf does come in handy from time to time but I'm not using it as much as I thought I would. It does a mostly good job of cleaning. The cleaning cycle is long, but I usually run it at night so it doesn't matter. One complaint is that I find water on the top of the mugs where it pools up. If I put them in tilted they come out dry. All in all I'm happy.

So far we are very pleased. This unit cleans very Well! The cycle time seems a little long but when it is done dishes are very clean. The thing we are most impressed with is how quiet it is. Our kitchen is very close to the living room and you can’t hear this thing run. I have caught myself checking a few times to make sure it was still on. Very quiet & does a great job!

Purchased this dishwasher as an ‘open box’ item. Received an extra 40% off. Picked it up at store. Dishwasher was in perfect condition - it had been a floor model. Installation was easy and it worked perfectly. Stainless steel interior is a great bonus, as is the third top rack. Does a great job of cleaning, and is super quiet. Great purchase!

We had a bottom of the line GE dishwasher that was provided to us by the facility we live in and it broke in under a year. The noise level of 64db was so loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation at time as it sounded like a freight train coming through our condo! We went to Best Buy and consulted with one of the amazing Pacific Sales' associates who spent 45 minutes giving us a tremendous overview of the different brands and the pros and cons. We wanted a unit that was quiet (quieter than 64db), was stainless steel, had a stainless steel tub, AND that had the drying element at the bottom! Kitchenaid is one of the few manufacturers that still includes the drying element in their dishwashers. After looking at all the options, we decided on this Kitchenaid and it is absolutely Fantastic! The installers were great and very thorough and fully explained how to use the machine. It is SO quiet (46db) that, unless you look at the display, you don't know its actually working. The dishes come out sparkling clean and sanitized so my wife is thrilled!! This is THE ONE to get!

We have owned this for about a year now. This is a good quality dishwasher. It does take a long time to run a cycle, but thats typical of newer dishwashers. The dishes come out very clean, even when one of my kids loads it. LOL It is a little more expensive then some, but worth the extra investment. You get a lot for your money.

I like the look of the dishwasher. Having the control buttons on top means that I'm hitting them whenever I open or close the door. The 3rd rack is the reason that I bought this but it isn't done well in this model. The top rack only has 2 adjustment. If it is all the way up I can't fit tall glasses in there, which is all that I own. If it is down to accommodate the glasses I can't put plates in there. It also cleans O.K. but not as well as any of the dishwashers that I have ever owned.

The KitchenAid dishwasher performs well and is very quiet. The only drawbacks are design features. Prior to this one, I briefly had a Bosch which had better design features but left the dishes very wet. I had to dry everything before putting away. I was told to use a product in with the dishwasher soap which I found unacceptable. The Kitchen Aid has wasted space in both the top and bottom drawers: bottom is by the utensil insert which cannot be broken in two halves, like the Bosch. The Bosch also had the flip up covers to the utensil insert whereas the KitchenAid has separate snap-on covers which are not so convenient. Top rack has wasted space on the front and back of each side where plates could be put in. Plates don't sit well in these spaces. The new drawer feature above it isn't very useful. I have only used it for large knives as it isn't very deep. The Bosch design was better as it's top drawer dipped in the middle so something larger could be put up there. I really like the KitchenAid; it is just some design features that could be improved.
