Bad choice or just a lemon?

Purchased this dishwasher last year, was delivered in December 2019, 10 months later it has stopped working. I contacted kitchenaid and they initially set me up with a service company that doesn't service kitchenaid dishwashers. So a second call set me up with another company. They came out around the second week of November and told me I need a new motor that had to be ordered and would only arrive on December 2nd. Today I receive a call that the part has not arrived and they have no current eta of its arrival. This has turned out to be a terrible purchase.
