This Kitchenaid dishwasher was equipt with nice features!

good dishwasher. but doesn't dry as well as I thought it would

I purchased in 2017 and have just scheduled the 3rd repair appointment for the same problem. I purchased the higher end Kitchen Aid because of the expected quality and brand. Cheap plastic part for the soap dispenser has broken each time. Thank goodness I took the 3 Year Geek Squad plan, but then again, should I have had to and expect 3 service calls in less than 2 years?

It's good dish washer but not better than Frigidiare

Took three dishwashers to be delivered that weren't damaged. First one the damage was hidden behind the kick panel and the second had damage to the door. The boxes showed no damage at all. Inferior quality control from KitchenAid. So be prepared.

First attempt to install halted when we realized the dishwasher was damaged. Was left with opening in sink water supply and drain that was not apparent until I tried to use the kitchen sink. Second delivery and install was fine.

I have grown incredibly dissatisfied with this dishwasher. It started out fine, but that was compared to a dishwasher that was well past its effective lifespan. It's just shy of 1 year since purchasing it and I'd rather not even use it. The extended heat dry is a joke and I'm constantly having to wash things again after running them through the dishwasher. The filter is easy to access and clean out which is done regularly, but that doesn't make a difference. Would not recommend this washer.

buttons are not in a visible location and the water supply is a plastic connector, prev washer was brass

After three loads, I had to request to exchange for a different product. It did not clean any better than my 26 year old Kenmore Dishwasher, did not load as many dishes because of the design and, because of the top tray that I could not remove, dishes in top section would get stuck, I could not put items in top shelf that I was able to with my old unit and harder to protect glassware to where two glasses broke.

Two years in, just past the warranty and the dishwasher has won’t drain water after a wash cycle. It hasn’t dried dishes right for about a year. I can’t believe for a dishwasher this expensive that you only get 2 years! Since it is past that point of course you can’t get any support. For the first year it was great though. Not sure that justifies a better review.

The bottom told in to washer so does top shelf no instructions with washer wonder if it was brought back not really the best

This is one of their "higher end" models, but does not work in about 90% of the cases. Even if you rinse exceedingly well, it will leave dishes dirty. It appears to me that you are really much better off with a 400/cheaper alternative, since this has no extra value. Best Buy itself gives a so called "90 Day" Warranty, but then doesn't honor that either. Simply gives you the KitchenAid's number. I guess their 90 day warranty only goes as far as giving you the manufacturer's phone number. After that you, you are on your own. :-) On the plus side, it does look pretty good, even if it doesn't actually work.

Still feeling it out not sure if it cleans as thoroughly as my old kitchen aid dishwasher

less space for pots and pans .The upper rack height reduced for taller glasses

Even when using advanced heat, always wet inside. Expect more from a higher end dishwasher. Cleans very good though.

Don't like the racks racks put the dishes. The spoons and Fork trays not good.
