Very happy - sturdy & top rack is key. Normal cycle is a little long but does a nice job.

This is a fantastic dish washer. No need to pre wash the dishes, just load them up and then let the machine run through its cycles. It takes time, probably because it needs to soften up the food left on the dishes, but they come out spotless. This has the special 3rd rack for your silverware. It took a while to get used to, but because they have way more room than bunched into the little rack, they also come out spotless. Also, it gentle on your dishes since the food does not need to be blasted off, but simply washed with reasonable jets. You will lose a lot of dishes with some dishwashers, but not this one. Rest comfortable that this dishwasher will handle your dishes.

This is an awesome dishwasher. Very quiet, dishes are spotless, and it's easy to use. It also looks great and the stainless steel doesn't attract fingerprints. I like the screen on the front that shows the current cycle progress!

This is a solid, quality dishwasher by a reliable company. Super quite, and clean dishes very well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the Normal Cycle takes very long to complete.

Does a great job cleaning the dishes. Very quiet. I bought it in part because of the third rack feature. Actually didn't care for it, so I took it out, but now like the extra space for the top rack.

I replaced my 9 year old KitchenAid with this model. It looks great in the kitchen - sleek and a clean look. I love that the finish doesn’t show fingerprints. I don’t like the 3rd rack. It is a waste. Whatever is put on that shelf does not dry and if lids are put there, the top of the lid holds water. That rack takes up valuable space. It cuts into what can be put on the rack underneath it. Of course, that middle rack can be lowered to accommodate something tall, but now you have cut into the height of the bottom rack. Forget about now washing a large platter or standing a skillet on it’s side. The silverware basket is right on the edge of the side of the dishwasher. Forks, especially, have to be pushed to the left of the basket. If they are leaning to the right, they lean past the outer side of the dishwasher and as I push the rack in, after loading it, the forks hit my cabinetry. I now have scratches on the wood. I use the Heat Dry option and items are still wet at the end of the drying cycle. Not soaked, just wet. But the dishes do get very clean, even using the Express Wash option. If I knew what I now know, I probably would not have purchased this model. I was excited about the 3rd rack when I first saw it. That rack is now in a bag and stored in the basement.

My old dishwasher completely died after more than 11 years of someone else doing its job. We hand washed everything prior to putting it inside, and hand dried everything thoroughly after it was done. This dishwasher works! Rinse away the chunks before putting items in, and when the cycle is complete, stuff cimes out clean and dry! Oh yeah, it is also very stylish and incredibly quiet! We bought this one to replace a piece of junk that never worked well. It is doing a magnificent job at doing what it was intended to do!

Our last dishwasher was from 2008 but this is such an up grade for us. Very quiet, love the way it blends in, and very easy to use. Love the room inside and extra upper deck is really nice. Oh and it cleans dishes great too.

Very quiet, easy to load, the black stainless is beautiful !

It was installed today. We have not had a chance to run a load. It looks great. We purchased the black stainless steel version. Our kitchen has black enamel appliances. We were concerned about it fitting in with the other appliances. Not a issue. We think that we will take advantage of the 3rd rack. We look forward to many years of service.

Very quiet, large load capacity and nice sleek clean lines

this machine does an excellent job of cleaning while operating very quietly. The racks have plenty of space for holding everything you could possibly want and roll in and out with ease even when loaded.

So far I haven't found the perfect position for the silverware to get 100% clean but am very close. Love how quiet it is. Overall a great job cleaning. Plenty of room for all types of dishes

value great preformer, quite good design easy to use

This Kitchen Aid appliance replaced an excellent 6 year old Kenmore Elite. Unfortunately in many cases it is more practical to replace than to repair; so I replaced. I did my research and determined that the Kitchen Aid had the features I wanted and had a good quality reputation. It does a very good job of cleaning and drying the dishes, including plastics, and is very quiet in the process. Those qualities should be "a given" for an expensive dishwasher, but not all are equal in effectiveness and quality. I am very satisfied so far with the Kitchen Aid.

My replaced d/w was still operating, but it was 15 years old and ready to be replaced. This new KitchenAid is far superior. It does take 2 times as long to finish, however my dishes come out shiny clean. I have to put my ear close to the washer to hear it operate. Controls are hidden when the door is closed. The exterior does not show fingerprints. I love love love the utensils basket because it keeps each utensil separate for washing. The middle drawer is adjustable. I use the top third drawer for spatulas and sharp knives, which lay flat. Some dishwashers leak onto the floor when the door is opened. This one is purposely designed not to do that! I can’t say enough good things about this appliance.
