I thought I was going to hate this dishwasher. The first time I used it I cut it on, walked away for about 30 minutes and came back to nothing, or so I thought. I was about ready to blast Best Buy but heard a faint hum. My dishwasher was indeed working, cleaning my dishes beautifully, just felt no need to advertise the fact. Now I love it, it's so quiet, just like Consumer Reports said it was.

It cleans the dishes very well. It is super quiet. The third rack comes in very handy.

This washer replaced a 14 year old Kitchenaid washer during a kitchen renovation. The old Kitchenaid was an excellent machine and so is this one. Its so quiet its hard to tell if its running. The cleaning cycles are longer than the other one because of the energy efficiency but that doesn't matter. The dishes come out very clean and shinny. I highly recommend this washer so far.

I purchased this washer and am happy with it. The wash cycles seem to take a really long time. The dishwasher is practically silent. We can walk up to it and open it before we realize it is on and running. The installers were not able to push it any further in...it sticks out of my cabinets about an inch. I'm not sure if it was a hose, or if the unit is actually longer than my cabinet space.

Very quiet and cleans well. Love the top rack. Dries well without spotting.

This unit is sleek but more importantly efficient and as quiet as a whisper so that if I want to do a load of dishes before I go to bed there is no loud sound from it to worry about. And then in the morning I have sparkling clean dishes with one run cycle - refreshing! You definitely get what you pay for and kitchen aid is the way to go on dishwashers.

We’ve had this dishwasher for a couple of years now, and I can only sing its praises. It’s quiet and cleans and dried effortlessly with great options. The upper rack is adjustable up or down to make space, and the third rack for knives and other delicate utensils is super useful. By far my favorite part is how the spokes are arranged on the racks; while researching, we found so many dishwashers whose racks simply didn’t offer any flexibility and expected your dishes to be arranged in an incredibly specific way. This washer’s racks are straightforward, not angled (thank goodness!), and thus allow a ton of different configurations. I never expected to be excited by a dishwasher, so I guess that means I’m officially old now, but it’s true - loading and unloading this dishwasher is not ‘fun’ (could it ever be?), but it’s not a chore either, so that’s fine by me.

This dishwasher is amazing. It cleans really well and it is extremely quiet. The drying is very effective. How ever there are some drawbacks that are workable. For instance the 3rd rack gets in the way of bottle washing and the wine rack washing. I have tried lowering the rake but then the 2nd rack is to low and bumps into the plates on the bottom rack.

Compared to my old dishwasher, this one is super quiet. I normally rinse the dishes before i put them in there so they normally come out clean. There are two things I don't like about it. First, the top rank falls out easily by itself. Second, it doesn't dry water very well. Most of the time the dishes are still wet when its done even though I use the highest drying setting.

Was a great upgrade from our old Dishwasher. Super quiet and cleans effectively. We have an open room with our living room and having the dishwasher on does not disrupt our TV watching which is nice. Only callout and I suspect this is with many 3 row dishwashers. A cookie sheet won't fit in and certain size glasses have to be laid at an angle to fit.

We previously owned a Bosch, which was near silent, but was expensive and did not dry dishes especially well. This Kitchenaid is only 1decible louder than the quietest Bosch, is much cheaper and fries better. We are very happy with our choice. We live in an open plan home and a quiet dishwasher is a must. We can even run this while we have company.

Many great features including the 3rd rack, bottle washers, adjustable racks and different settings. These racks glide in and out so much better than our old dishwasher and it is super quiet. We’ve had this for 6 months and really enjoy it. The only con is that we didn’t realize there wasn’t a fine china setting (for the 1 time a year that we use them).

Great dishwasher at a good sale price, very quiet, cleans well, like all the different positions for tall glasses, flat utensils, good dry cycle. Now the bad part, Best Buy made us wait 2 weeks than did not show up for appointment, no call no show, i had to call to find out! A week later, they show up late, install the unit but woke up to a kitchen full of water, nice job Best Buy! Great machine, lousy service from BB.

The dishwasher is like most/all the new ones in that it takes hours to do the job but if put on auto everything, it does it pretty well. Plastics still are not dry, even with drying agent but it works well and you have to listen closely to even tell it is running. The top rack is not very helpful because if anything sticks up, the water wand stalls.

After reading a lot of reviews, we went for this one. Excellent dishwasher, very quiet, wash is amazing. If I had anything to say that is negative it is the drying portion of the dishwasher. Sometimes the dishes have water on them more than my old GE profile. It does wash better, and the quality of the handle and washer parts far exceeds anything put out by GE.

Replaced a 10 year Bosch that would always leave dishes / cups wet due to lack of heating element. This Kitchen Aid delivers as described. Super quiet, large capacity, nice drawer for flat ware or knives. Great experience with the delivery and install Geek Squad. They did a very professional install! Would definitely recommend.

Love the 3rd row rack and just the whole set up of the dishwasher. It is extremely quiet! Buttons are a little hard to get to and manipulate once installed because my counter hangs over the top of the dishwasher. The only thing that disappoints me a tad is that it has the pro dry. I was hopeful that this would eliminate wet dishes, but we still have dishes that don’t get dry that we have to dry by hand.

I can't sing the praises enough of this dishwasher. I researched the quietness of all makes and models before deciding on this one. I wanted a truly quiet running dishwasher since I have an open concept kitchen and this one delivers. If it wasn't for the lights on the exterior you wouldn't know it was running. Cleans like a dream and fits everything in it.
