Cleans dishes great and very quiet, nice design, spacious inside

Unit is nice to look at and quietest we have ever owned. The unit truly only cleans well on the heavy cycles which unfortunately uses more water and power than necessary. That’s one concern. Only other concern is about capacity. The removable flatware basket crowds items so they don’t get clean on a regular cycle unless they have been pre-rinsed which again is not okay. There also is a height problem with the lower and upper large baskets. Can’t seem to fit a 16 oz ice tea glass on top unless you have no plates to clean below. Really tight so spinner hits. Lastly all the drinking glass space weirdly has thing sitting at an angle (probably to run water off completely) but that creates the height problems and either way design prevents clean glassware and flatware. So it’s not perfect but a good unit.

Cleans well, dries dishes fairly well always leaves plastic not thoroughly dry. As per the white light (all functions complete) . Not so true. The whole inside of the unit is not dry at all using pro dry or extended pro dry. Called kitchen Aid they told me to use Sani-rinse. did not work. Will be calling all Geek squad. I have owned Kitchen Aid dishwashers only. Never had this problem. and the dishwashers are like the ever ready battery. 3rd tray in my a opinion is a waste. You have to make sure the utensils are face down. The additional tray in the back can do without it. only good for very small demitasse spoons. The best quality of the machine is it's noise free during all wash cycles. very impressed with that. I will recommend a buy if the above problem can be fixed.

Better than my old LG that I thought was quit, that is until I ran this unit. It is whisper quiet. The only time I can hear it is when the water is draining into the sinks drain. It gets the dishes spotless clean and dry too. The old LG had a hard time drying dishes, but not this unit. My only issue has been remembering to hit the start button when I close the door, its so quiet that if I forget to hit start I wouldn’t know if it was on or not. The only indicator is the LED light by the right side of the handle. If its blue its on. I have gotten used to it after a few loads. Did I mention its quiet? I mean I really have to wonder if its really working, but its always spotless dishes when its done.

This is an outstanding dishwasher at an outstanding price. This KitchenAid is the real deal. There’s another model that looks the same that sells at other retailers for about the same price but that is a much cheaper construction. Check your model numbers and Consumer Reports. The Best Buy version is outstanding and quiet and cleans like a dream.

This KitchenAid dishwasher is amazing! I had a JennAir, and I admit that it was 12 years old, but the improvements are wonderful. Yes, it is super quiet! Yes, it REALLY cleans! Love the silverware container - keeps all the silverware separated, so it always comes out spotless. Love the little 3rd shelf at the top for flat things - spatulas, kitchen shears, etc. When I first used it, I was skeptical about whether the utensils would be clean. Yep! Works great! I can put my All Clad pans in it - no food on them, but, you know, grungy, and they come out shiny clean. This KitchenAid dishwasher is the BEST. I am - let’s just say, over 65 - and have had a bunch of dishwashers. Don't bother wasting your money on anything else!

Love this dishwasher. it cleans really good and super quiet.

I have had this for about a month and am very pleased. It is really quite and does a really good job cleaning and drying the dishes. I really like the very top rack which holds kitchen tools etc for cleaning.

We have had the dishwasher for 6 weeks. Setting the buttons correctly took a couple of times before we didn't make mistakes. It is so quiet that I thought it wasn't running the first time and ended up draining it and having to wait so I could reset the start. Buy good detergent. We had some low quality tablets and they did not get things clean. It does a good job cleaning once you get the hang of loading it. I wish the plates stood up straighter so they have more space between them. We really like that the top basket raises and lowers. The bottle jets work well. The handles of our silverware did not fit in the silverware organizer holes so we just took the cover off the baskets. The black stainless is very pretty and does not show fingerprints or water marks.

Great dishwasher... super quiet and gets everything clean

Had this dishwasher for a month and it has performed like a champ. Cleans the dishes very well and you can hardly hear it running. A little trickier to load then my old Kitchenaid but getting the hang of it. Third rack not really useful for me so took it out to have more room for tall glasses. Overall very happy with my purchase.

So far the machine is better than expected. The only problem is the pictures online make you think your getting the Power Scrub so if you don’t read the fine print you many not get the options combination you wanted. Some show power scrub but some don’t and not sure if it was an error on Best Buy.

I've only run it a few times, but the dishes are clean and it's so quiet I don't even notice it's running. Love the third rack at the top, which I use for spatulas and small lids.

Dishwasher is great. Very quiet and dishes are clean and stream free. Best Buy installation was a fail. Took four appointments ( over about a three week period) to finally get the install. First attempt/ product was damaged. Second attempt they didn’t have all the parts and tools to complete install. Third attempt- the installer didn’t load the product on truck to install. Finally after much frustration and strong words it got installed properly. The installers worked overtime (9 pm) to complete install.

Overall I’m happy with this dishwasher. It looks great, well made, quality racks etc. My complaints are that (& this may apply to all 3 rack dishwashers) in a standard size it’s great that the height of the 2nd rack is adjustable but when it’s pulled up, wine glasses won’t even fit in that rack & when it’s down, the washer blade hits the tops of dinner plates & knives. Sigh. Not sure if that problem was worth having a 3rd rack on top. Bottle wash sprayers are awesome. 1/2 of our utensils are too thick to fit in the utensil rack/organizer & we’ve considered cutting some to make the hole larger (tho you have option to remove the “organizer”). Very quiet. Impressive drying. My fave cycle is normal with sani wash & drying.

This dishwasher is super quiet and does an excellent job cleaning the dirtiest of dishes. The installation and easy and only took about 20 minutes. The 3rd rack is great for those long utensils and knives.

This is by far the quietest dishwasher I have ever seen and not heard! Standing right in front of it you can just barely hear it, if you listen very carefully. The dishes come out spotless. It has three cleaning jets on the top rack that gives your extra dirty items a little power wash. I love it for washing out my smoothie cups. It gets every little stuck on bit of fruit or veggie remains out of the cup. It would be great for baby bottles. The top rack is also adjustable (up or down) to accommodate taller items on the top or bottom rack. That was a handy feature I discovered by accident!

We bought this dishwasher because we just could not stand the noise our old one made. WOW, WOW, WOW this is the quietest appliance in the house. Our kitchen, living room and family room as all open with tile in the kitchen and wood in the family room so the sound throughout is amplified. You had to talk VERY loud to hear over the old dishwasher, this one you do not even know it is running, the fridge is louder than this dishwasher! This cleans the dishes perfectly too!!! If you are looking for a good quality quiet dishwasher, this is the one!

This dishwasher is the best. It’s super quiet, does an amazing job cleaning, and has a great layout on the inside for fitting all sorts of odd shaped containers and bottles. This model has ProDry which works especially well when the washer isn’t really full and even does a good job reducing water build up on plastics. We chose to have ours installed so that the top row of buttons and cycle indicator peak out from under the lip of the counter. It’s nice to be able to see the progress of the wash (and which options you selected) other than the LED on the front of the washer.

This is a superb product. It is easy to use and does a great job cleaning. The interior flexibility/adjustments are better than most other brands. Shelves are sturdy and slide out smoothly. The controls are easy to use and the option for heated and fan circulation makes quick work of drying. I normally turn the heated drying off so I can load trays with plastics and save the energy. I have not used the bottle washer but it will be handy when needed. This dishwasher is so quiet you can barely hear it when you are next to it. I can watch TV without interference. Not cheap but worth every penny for quality and reliability.
