We have had the dishwasher a couple weeks. My wife is very satisfied with the operation, and the quietness of the dishwasher. Replaced an older appliance that was still working, but this one was well worth the price.

My reason for 4 stars not 5 is just the internal space between racks is not quite as big as I am used to. Cleans great and is very quiet

We have had our share of *noisy* dishwashers over the years - and this one is about as clear a departure from that experience as one could imagine. We have asked each other "is the dishwasher running" often enough - it's that quiet. Very clean dishes on any of the settings we've tried so far. One small item, there can be a small bit of steam residue left on a few things - maybe we haven't yet found the optimal drying choice. In any case, very happy with it.

This dishwasher is soo quite it's hard to tell when it's running. And it does a great job cleaning the dishes too.

So quiet! Cleans beautifully and is fully functional for a large family. If you want to hear tv while you wash dishes I recommend this one..

I read reviews for weeks before deciding on this Kitchenaid model, and am very happy with it. The third drawer for cutlery is super useful, as I put all my large cooking spoons and knifes up there. I didn't by some of the higher end brands because they didn't have a heat dry setting to dry plastic. I use the ProDry setting for each load as we use a lot of plastic/tervis type cups in Florida, and they all dry perfectly. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but not going with a 5 as I still think the drawers could roll a little smoother.

I am overall very happy with the dishwasher. It is very quiet and does a great job cleaning.

This dishwasher has exceeded our expectations. We bought it to replace another brand. We had head from friends that Kitchen Aid models were great, and now I can report that they are indeed. Also, it is unbelievably quiet. I literally couldn’t tell it was running until I put my ear against the door, then I could barely hear it. Another nice feature is the adjustable top rack that goes up and down. I would definitely buy this model again.

This is the best dish washer we have ever had. Cleans glasses and dishes like magic, and it is quiet too!
