You can hardly hear the dishwasher running. When using the pro wash it cleans dishes even with food dried on. I tested it to find out how well it cleans.

I built my whole kitchen around this dishwasher. Its so quiet!. I love it. The design, how it cleans dishes very well without all the pre "rinsing" like some dishwashers require. Only one thing with it is the front panel its very sensitive. I moved my coffeepot because when I reach to get coffee I sometimes turn on the dishwasher. Deep counters and short reach I would brush up against the panel. Not a fault of the manufacturers.

We had a Maytag dishwasher before and it only last 6 years and was very loud. Now we have the Kitchenaid and it is so quite and seems like a better quality dishwasher.

Have had this dishwasher 1year 3 months. It is quiet when operating. It does not clean stainless bowls well even though I have washed them before putting them inside the dishwasher. They always come out with particles on them and I end up having to scrub them. The inside of the dishwasher is getting a build up on the stainless tub. My previous dishwasher never did this and I had it for 6 years.

It's works well, but it does have a smell it seems to being away after a few washes. If you lean up against it, it does activate the buttons.

Have been KitchenAid dishwasher customers for life. Old unit was still working after 18 years but it was time for replacement. New unit is great...so quiet.

Dishwasher is very Quiet. Lots of rack space. Buttons push very easily. Dishwasher has turned on when someone leans against it.

Love my new KitchenAid dishwasher. It is very quiet. The upper rack can be raised for larger pots and pans. Nice stainless steel interior.

This dishwasher does an outstanding job. I usually choose the Prowash cycle which senses what needs to be done and have never been disappointed.

Can't say enough about this model! We wanted a mid price dishwasher that was quiet and most of all that would get our dishes clean and that's exactly what we got! It was even more quiet than we anticipated! The controls are on the front of the door and are very touchy and if it starts you hear a tone and can quickly cancel! We were pleasantly surprised and can't say enough about the performance of this dishwasher. You won't be disappointed!

About as basic as it gets for a dishwasher. No frills, but it does the job. Very quiet. Takes about 2 hours for a full load.
