    The controls are on the face of the door and are difficult to program, you must bend down to see the small print. They are touch sensitive and it is easy to make the wrong choice and end up with a 4 hour wash cycle or bump the door and cancel the wash in the middle of the cycle.

    It was running ok for 3 months and then started the trouble. The dish cleaning liquid dispenser won't open and the dishes were dirty. Too much water wasted and finally had to call for a service. The service person said it is a design flaw with the dispenser. He removed the rubber gasket from the dispenser and works ok since then. Kitchen Aid should do a recall for that dispenser rather than covering it up. Also the control buttons are so sensitive. You have to be very careful not to lean or brush against the door, otherwise all of a sudden you are hearing the dishwasher running. You spend so much for a dishwasher and it broke in 3 months.???? Not acceptable. No more Kitchen aid for me. I would have bought a Bosch instead.
