Customers are saying

Customers highly value the 24" Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance. Many appreciate its ease of use and the ample capacity for dishes. While some users mention longer cycle times and sensitivity of the control panel, the positive feedback on cleaning and noise levels outweighs these concerns.

    Not very user friendly

Horrible to install I like all the extra insulation. But it makes it hard to get into even the biggest opening. The upper tray is not laid out like our old washer, it's just difficult to get dishes in the slots so they will be organized and not move around during a cycle. The buttons are not user friendly. If you walk by and rubb against them they come on.

Leaves too much water after the dry cycle. Space is limited; poor planning of upper rack.

After having a great Kitchen-Aid dishwasher for 17 years, it was getting tired and needed to be replaced. We checked several sites for reviews and recommendations to find this Kitchen-Aid HIGHLY rated. So we made the purchase. Unfortunately, it didn't get the dishes clean. It didn't even work well enough to dissolve their prefered detergent. Clearly something was faulty straight from the factory. Now we had to deal with the inconvenience of resolving the issue. Upon calling Kitchen-Aid, they offered to send a technician out at no charge. Again, another inconvenience. We opted to return the dishwasher to Best Buy and purchase a Bosch, which we are quite pleased with. Best Buy never disappoints when it comes to service.

I read the reviews here and did my research online. There had to be some changes to this machine. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned!!! It doesn’t wash anything well! You really have to scrub your dishes clean before placing them in the dishwasher. Or running your dishwasher and then washing your dishes AGAIN! On top of this, I paid Best Buy to install it and the guy who did install it ripped up my cabinet! EPIC FAIL! Never repaired either.

    Worst Dishwasher

I purchased this Kitchen Aid Dishwasher to replace my old Whirlpool one that had no issues for 10 years and finally gave up. This was one of my poorest decisions I have ever made to buy this Kitchen Aid junk. The very first year of buying it, the detergent dispenser broke(it won't open at all). Now it is the second year and it is leaking from underneath. It flooded my kitchen and was overflowing in to the basement. Just run away from Kitchen Aid dishwashers. It is just a piece of junk. Now I have to spend so much money to fix that. My friend warned me before buying a Kitchen Aid and now I am seeing the reason why he said that. Horrible product.

I cannot enjoy this dish washer, because their so called professional installer couldn't figure out the four screws needed to lift up countertop. I called the store and went in to the location of purchase; tried to explain the problem. They sent me to corporate, now it's been a run around game with them. This past week they refuse now to install. I plan on making a BBB complaint. I wouldn't buy a dish washer from Best buy unless it is an easy hookup. They will lie and tell you they can install anything; the only reason why I bought one from them. I am an Iraqi war vet and disabled, but they could care less in making the situation right!

    Kitchenaid Dishwasher

We purchased the dishwasher from Bestbuy and had it delivered with no installation. We installed it and it took a while, but it's plumbing, plumbing is always a pain. The delivery was fine and they took away the old dishwasher, which was a Kitchenaid we had for 10 years. We compared the LG and Bosch to this one. The LG quality didn't seem on par to the other brands so it came down to this and the Bosch SHE53T55UC. In the end we decided on the Kitchenaid since we were familiar with the product line and had more features for this price point. In the end I think the Bosch line is good, but at a higher price point. It's a dishwasher so do you really need to spend $1000+? No, just get a good brand, decent warranty you're send. In the end we really like this dishwasher. The controls are easy to understand and it's so quiet I don't even know that it's on. I believe it runs at 44dbs and that's very quiet.

I order this product and set up a appointment to be installed. Well the day that they were supposed to install. I get a call saying we don’t have anymore of this model but you can purchase something different. They didn’t have anything similar in features and the ones they did have was way more expensive. They didn’t want to give me or honor the same price for there screw up.

the engineering on this is terrible. The upper rack is supported my 4 small plastic parts that break after time. I've owned this for two years and twice have had the upper rack collapse when one of these cheap plastic parts breaks off. Very angry that they would make such a piece of garbage.

THE KITCHEN AID DISHWASHER IS OK BUT THE PARTS USED BY WHIRLPOOL FOR THE PUMP AND THE INLET VALVE TEND TO LEAK AND FLOOD OFTEN IN ALL MACHINES THAT USE WHIRLPOOL PARTS. THEY WILL FLOOD YOUR FLOOR. MOST DISHWASHERS USE THEIR PARTS. ONLY A FEW BRANDS DO NOT. CHECK THIS OUT BEFORE YOU BUY A DISHWASHER.

I am a licensed contractor with multiple years of experience in home repairs and have installed roughly a dozen or so dishwashers. I installed dishwasher per instructions and the dish washer has power and water flow ,no kinked lines. Machine appears to be cycling through its process and dishes haven't been washed or dried. Just my luck. 750$ including extra service warranty. WOW
