Excellent at cleaning. Controls are touch sensitive and difficult to read.

The dishwasher has several features I like but there are also a few things I have found rather annoying. The inside of the washer has a combined 3 sprayers, one under the bottom rack, one under the top rack, and one above the top rack. This is great for cleaning but you have to wash long utensils on the top rack because of not having enough clearance with the middle sprayer even with after raising the adjustable top rack. The inside of the washer is stainless steel and is very pleasing to the eye. It has a removable filter which is also nice for cleaning. The hot wash and hot rinse do a great job, but the heated dry is "average" and could have been done a lot better. I don't know if this is do to the vent being on the side of the door or not, but the vent is small. The lights on the panel when in use are very bright but I do not find them displeasing. Last but not least, the dishwasher is impressively quiet. The loudest the washer gets is when you are running the "tough" wash and it is still very quiet.

This dishwasher cleans very well, doesn't leave any spots (we do use rinse aid). It is quiet and we are very happy with it. The normal wash cycle takes more than 2 hours, but there are shorter options, such as light cycle, that clean just as well (we always pre-rinse dishes anyway).

Pros: very quiet, love love love that it actually dries the dishes! Racks roll in & out very easily. Cons: seems like old Amana dishwasher held more dishes. Must put bowls on top rack which takes space from glasses. Wish the tines in bottom rack were spaced out more to allow for wider dishes. Lean against door and you accidentally start the machine. You have to press and hold the lock button to prevent accidental starts. Not a big deal. The exterior of my door has an issue with the sheen of the stainless steel. Currently waiting for Kitchenaid to fix/replace it. Overall, will be very happy with my purchase if they correct the door issue.

This dishwasher is just what I was hoping, the cycle is a little long but it is quiet and does a good job cleaning. Warning: the installation company Best Buy used was a nightmare! They didn't show up twice!

Had to shut old dishwasher off to have a conversation in the kitchen so dB level was an important factor. Extremely impressed with how quiet this is (rated 46 dB). Also, top drawer slides very easily yet very stable and appears to be well built. Full stainless tub. Lastly, door opens relatively easily which I didn't find on all the models I was reviewing. My full recommendation on this one.

Read many reviews prior to purchasing, and the reviews are correct. It's super quiet, cleans well and even dries the dishes on the drying cycle. It takes over 2 hours to run on the normal cycle. But most brands do today. The dishwasher has met my expectations.

I’ve been hand washing for years figuring there was no way a dishwasher could possibly get dishes as clean as I could using good old fashioned elbow grease. This dishwasher has done an amazing job at leaving my dishes spotless no matter how much stuck on food I leave on them while loading it.

The Kitchenaid dishwasher is quiet, efficient and the value is a plus.

This is the second unit. First unit delivered and installed - water pump doesn't work. No problem - one phone call to Best Buy Geek Squad and they have another on the way to me; the only problem is all the time I spent installing and uninstalling the dishwasher that did not work - what a pain - with no reimbursement of my time and sanity. Anyways, got this dishwasher on clearance... saved $300 - replaced a 12 year old unit. Cleans great, dries the dishes great, smells great, Only complaint I have is that the inside of the dishwasher is soaking wet after the dry cycle... dishes dry, dishwasher door/wall/etc wet. Otherwise, great looking unit, easy to use, easy to install, easy to uninstall - LOL.

I am surprised how quiet the dishwasher is. My previous one was pretty noisy. The energy saving cycles take too much time so if you want to turn it on, you have to wait too long for it to finish. But, the dishwasher performance is very good.
