It's about as quiet as the Bausch and it does a better job at drying the dishes.

We bought this primarily because we bought a new KitchenAid refrigerator and wanted to match. Our old dishwasher was great and I was concerned that a new one wouldn't clean as well so I was reluctant to change. Since my old appliances were black and the new refrigerator is stainless steel it made sense. I had nothing to worry about, this dishwasher is great! Looks and performs beautifully!

Purchased with new stove and fridge. Very happy with choice, Received good sale price and free install. Basket glides move so smoothly and everything fits in it easily .

The dishwasher has been pretty good so far. Sometimes, it doesn't start after you activate the cycle. That has been infrequent after using it daily though. Installation was a debacle though!!! An installation date was set and I took off work to make sure that someone was home on that date. After the installer did not show up, I called to see if he was still coming. I was told that the installer only services my area on Mondays which was not the day of the scheduled installation. They made me reschedule my delivery and installation to a day that was over a MONTH after my purchase date. The corporate person that rescheduled it blamed it on the local store in my area. I went to the local store and expressed my displeasure and they had it rescheduled asap. I was very appreciative of my local store doing what they could to get it delivered and installed as soon as possible, but I was offered no reimbursement for the money I lost by taking off of work to meet the installer that never showed up. The corporate person that I spoke to was rude and offered no empathy and offered nothing to reimburse or make the situation right. They just kept blaming the local store and would not do anything to make it right.

I'm sure glad that the unit has a light to let me know when it's running. It is sooooo quiet. I've had to put my ear up to the door just to make sure that the light is correct. Our living area is small and we were worried that a dishwasher would make too much noise for us to enjoy conversation and/orTV. Our worries were unfounded as this is the quietest dishwasher that we have ever owned.

This Kitchenaid dishwasher is so quiet. Our kitchen/living room has an open floor plan, so its nice to be able to talk and watch TV while the dishwasher is running. The stainless steel matches my SS Samsung appliances nicely. I am having trouble with water spots, but I am tweaking the finish rinse to see if it improves. I was able to get a great price on the DW (open box) plus the delivery and installation were free.

installation into the old place was a read challenge. had to adjust to the long running time. like sani cycle for canning jars. like being able to turn off dryer heat

We recently purchased the Kitchenaid double wall oven and were very pleased. So when we decided to replace our aging Whirlpool Gold dishwasher, we obviously went with the new Kitchenaid model. There really is no comparison between the two. This Kitchenaid dishwasher looks great, feels much more solidly built, and is much quieter. Completely satisfied. We got what we paid for.

This dishwasher is a great upgrade from our previous installed unit (which was installed in our new home). Our last dishwasher would take four hours to wash dishes and dry them. And still at the end of that the dishes were not clean and not dry all the time. After a one hour cycle with the new dishwasher the dishes were clean and dry. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

This is a very quiet dishwasher. Cleans very well. Very happy with purchase.

I decided on Kitchen Aid after many months of exhaustive searching for a dishwasher. So far, it has met my expectation. The main features that I as interested in was a quiet dishwasher that cleaned the dishes. This one does both. I also noticed the manufacturer suggests you use a rinse aid so the dishes are sparkly clean. So far, I haven't used a rinse aid and the dishes look. This was a great choice

I bought this after 20 years with my Frigidaire dishwasher. It's a nice sleek style and very quiet, I was used to a lot of noise with my old one. Stainless steel interior but I feel it has less room than my old dishwasher. The other thing I would complain about is the exterior. I was told it was fingerprint free....not so...I feel like I am constantly cleaning it...but other than that I do like it..
