High End Name & Price Does Not AlwaysEqual Quality

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this high end dishwasher for my wife as a Birthday/Christmas present - spent good money on it as I wanted a good quality dishwasher that was quiet. It was installed well and it had a nice clean look to it. It worked great and was quiet up to this past fall - when it started having issues not cleaning the dishes and shutting down mid cycle. It was about 4 years after buying it. Smart thing I did was buy a 5 year warranty. So when repair company came out and ordered new motherboard and motor, and the parts couldn't come in - it was warrantied out and we went back to Bosch brand. Very disappointed with KitchenAid and forever disillusioned with their label and price - high end brand does not equal good quality. I gave 2 stars only because it worked well for 4 years - otherwise would have been 1 star.

Clean look

Washes fine, but a little noisy.

Solid Dishwasher for the price
