This is not our first kitchen aid dishwasher. Our first one was in the 1980s through the years and different houses we had other brands that were ok but not as good as the kitchen aid we had. We replaced our old whirlpool with a kitchen aid 3 years ago. It was great but the controls were on the front and if we didn’t lock it we would turn it on reaching over the counter. We recently moved again and had to replace a Maytag. We made sure to chose a kitchen aid with controls that were on the top of the door. Does a great job it does take 3 hours but everything comes out clean on the “pro wash “ setting

Replaced a Bosch and was surprised to find the KitchenAid was noticeably quieter. Does a good job cleaning, as well.

Very happy with this dishwasher! It is much quieter than our previous one and does a great job cleaning. Installation was relatively smooth also.

Then the delivery was on time and the dishwasher arrived in pristine condition. Then the installation team was great. Then the dishwasher worked great, and continues to work great. you have to load the dissolvable detergent packets a certain way or they don't melt right and you have to rerun

We just had this installed yesterday and it is super quiet. We were very happy with the installer and the time he took to make the install smooth

My old dishwasher bit the dust. My sister researched and found the Kitchenaids to have the best reviews on Consumer Reports. We looked at the different models and chose this one based on the features we were looking for. The only thing I've found it doesn't do well is remove all dried on food. I still have to prewash if the food has been sitting all day on the dishes. Otherwise, it is a top-notch unit that I highly recommend.

Dishes came out sparkling and dry. It's so quiet. Love the silverware tray with the separations to help with getting each piece clean.
