The first thing I notice, is how quiet it runs. The dishes come out clean and I love the 3rd rack.

For the extra money paid for the third rack up top, it was a waste of money. With no small spray arm at the top, items in the top third rack get minimal water and its all from the bottom. So, I've not been very impressed w/the cleaning of items in that rack. We now use it minimally. The rest of the washer seems to work very good. I do feel the need to use the extended dry time option as the regular dry time can leave items still wet. We use liquid/gel dishwashing detergent as the powders can not always fully dissolve and build up in the plumbing of the machine but this is the case w/any dishwasher. It is much quieter than the 17 year old machine which it replaced. We can start a wash cycle just before bed w/ no noise problem. Our bedroom shares a wall with the kitchen and dishwasher doesn't keep us awake.

Very happy with this purchase. The dishwasher is very quiet and cleans extremely well. My only quibbles are minor - I wish the tines on the lower basket had a bit of a curve at the bottom to better hold bowls, and I wish the silverware basket was placed along the front instead of the side. Other than those very minor issues, I’m extremely happy with this dishwasher!

A very solid well built dishwasher and extremely quiet too. It was replacing an older base model that was very noisy. This one you cant even tell its running, standing right next to it.

It is SO~~~ Quiet. We thought it was not working at the first run; it is that quiet. So happy about the quietness. Large capacity and third rack helps.

Have not had it very long, install was pretty easy. Machine is very quiet. Had to put my ear to it to see if it was running. Seems to clean okay. Machine does have condensation on the inside of door after use. Need to wipe it down or air it out to dry after use. Normal cycle takes about 2 hours.

My gosh! This thing is incredibly quiet, and does a PERFECT job of cleaning the dishes. There are times I forget that I've turned it on, because it's so quiet. I live in a ranch style home, so I used to be able to hear my old dishwasher from any room on the main floor. Now, I can't even hear it when I'm right next to it. Awesome!

Very quiet, cleaning doesn't require extensive rinsing prior to washing. Operating is easy and the different cycles make cleaning almost flawless.

We needed a new dishwasher for a home we just purchased. We've had great luck with Kitchen Aid products in previous homes. We are impressed with how quiet this dishwasher is. You don't even know it is running even when you are standing next to it. The top (3rd) rack is great for knives and other flat items. Great dishwasher!

This Kitchendaid dishwasher, does a great cleaning job, and it has a 3rd rack for utensils. Very quiet.

My main decision on this dishwasher was a quiet unit, front buttons and stainless steel. Well, this met all my expectations. It is quiet, you can stand right next to it and barely hear it. It also cleans very well. I wanted front buttons because I feel buttons on top get more abuse from steam and spills putting things in and out of unit. I definately recommend this unit

So far it is probably the best dishwasher I have ever owned in close to 40 years !! Super quiet , so quiet I had to open it to make sure it was working. Lots of space with several options for the rack positions. I would highly recommend this dishwasher. We replaced a Bosch that never truly dried the dishes , this one gets them dry and so squeaky clean.

Excellent new dishwasher installed as part of our kitchen remodel. Much different from our ancient 1990s (maybe 80s) vintage. Runs very quietly and the results are great. I was a bit surprised at how long it takes to do a load, but I get it. It is all part of the quiet and efficient operation. We had been without a dishwasher for several years. It is a joy to have this one operating for the past 3 weeks or so.

I researched all kinds of dishwashers because the one that came with my new condo sounded like an aircraft carrier and truly didn't work well. So what was it going to be Bosch or KitchenAid? I decided on the KitchenAid because of its looks, ratings and it is really quiet. My dishes are now clean and dry after and washing cycle. Whew!

This dishwasher is very quiet. You have to be right at it to tell that it is running. Excellent at cleaning the dishes. Sells associate at Best Buy was very helpful in us choosing this dishwasher.
