The old dishwasher was to costly to repair. I needed a quiet dishwasher and thought technology would provide it, since it touted "quietest". It is exactly the same inside compartment as the older unit, so no problem with rack configuration. Had it installed thru BB, and the guys did a good job. I was willing to pay much more for a quiet dishwasher. I should have bought the Bosch, which is a top rated brand and more expensive. I was told you have to almost put your hand on this dishwasher to determine it was running....Not the case. Disappointed to say the least.

KitchenAid Tech said something about an after market piece being installed on it but it was brand new. Best Buy tells me it's a warranty issue and couldn't replace it? Brutal.
