I really like this unit. It is quiet, but I do not believe that it is actually 39dBA quiet. I can still hear the unit running in the next room when it is operating. It is quieter than my last unit which was around 50 dBA, but I do not think that it is 11 dBA quieter. Beyond that, I love the finish, easy to keep clean and it does a really good job of cleaning dishes. The towel handle on the front is also a big selling point for this unit. Gives quick access to a hand towel. Overall, I am impressed with the quality of the unit so far.

The self install was pretty straight forward. There is about 6 feet of drain line that you cannot shorten and it has to be put somewhere. 4 feet would have been plenty. the unit does not dry my dishes. I read the install instructions again and ran the set up program again but still nothing gets dry. I have the warranty with geek squad so that is my next call. the unit is very very quiet so that is why 4 star instead of 3.

Very quiet and cleans the dishes well. I took out the top rack as i felt the dishes on the second rack didn't get as clean. I never wanted the extra rack but that is the only way I could get this dishwasher. After a few days, had to have the defective water plump replaced, so now it cleans and rinses well.

It definitely has performed wry good. The dishwasher is quiet and easy to operate.

Whisper quiet and a great clean. I always run it on Tough, Extended Heat Dry and Hi Temp Wash. Never disappointed!

This unit is "Very Quiet" and Clean our dishes to perfection.

Kitchenaid dishwasher is the final appliance i had to replace in kitchen. Will always buy this brand cause its made well and all my previous purchases of kitchenaid appliances in now both of my homes NY and FL have been a priceless investment.

Awesome dishwasher so far. Very VERY quiet - sometimes I can't tell it's on, and need to rely on the colored light visual queue. Very flexible shelf setup, and I love the convenience of the narrow utensil/cutlery shelf on top. Because of this, I can load the unit very quickly with minimal need to rearrange big or odd shaped items. Mind you I come from the perspective of having a 15+ year basic dishwasher prior to this one. So while any current dishwasher model would be an improvement, what an improvement!

We replaced the same model dishwasher with the newer version about a month ago. The redesign of the center basin, the top rack, and the front has made a huge difference. The plates are much cleaner and the dry is better. Pros: Easier to clean front Top rack is setup to allow forks and utensils. Buttons work much better then the older model Con: No room on the top for baking pans anymore. I would suggest this for everyone it's a great dishwasher.

This dishwasher is the quietest one I have ever had!! So glad I purchased it!
