Whisper Quiet Dishwasher

I had to wait a while for this one to become available, but it was worth the wait. KitchenAid did a great job with this dishwasher. It runs so quiet, I have to walk into the kitchen and go right next to the dishwasher to even hear it.

Quiet and Functional

Although did have to take back out to adjust leveling adjustment. Upper silverware drawer took a bit of getting used to but is useful. Will remove item basket in lower rack as it is not really used. Unit is super quiet which is a big plus. So far, so good!

One drawback is that the top shelf which is advertised for forks and spoons, etc., doesn't really work that well. Items on that shelf haven't been coming out clean. Very professional installation by Best Buy techs.

Worked ... for 12.2 months

The dishwasher worked relatively well for the first year. IMMEDIATELY as the one-year warranty timed out, the LEDs on the front control panel stopped lighting up - We have no way to select or control what cycle the unit washes. The instruction book has no help for resetting or troubleshooting the unit. While the unit is very quiet when it is washing, it is dead silent now since we can't use it after 12.2 months. BBY is working on a warranty exception to extend for a few weeks ...
