Easy to install, very quiet operation. The dishes come out perfectly dry. Very satisfied with purchase.

4.5/5! So far this has been a great machine, had it a little over a month and it functions great. Saying it is quiet is kind of an understatement. It is practically unnoticeable even when standing next to it. There have been times I've wondered it I forgot to turn it on since you can't hear it once you leave the kitchen. I'm taking off 1/2 a star since the "heated dry" option is always on by default. Since we primarily use plastic plates it is a little inconvenient to have to turn it off every time. But the manual says not to place anything plastic in the bottom rack when using the heated dry and I don't feel like testing that and possibly cleaning up melted plate. Otherwise I'd say if you are looking for a new machine and want something quiet I would definitely consider this one.

We replaced a Whirlpool Dishwasher during an kitchen renovation. The new KitchenAid Top Control Built in is performing as advertised. Not only is it an upgrade to our new kitchen, it is very quiet, cleans and dries well and is stylish. We're happy with the purchase, time will tell the full story. I expect we'll have this for a long time.

Excellent dishwasher, incredibly quiet compared the 20 year old unit it replaced. Dishes come out clean, and much drier than with the old one. Stainless interior is very nice as well. All in all a great mid-priced option.

We are quite happy with this dishwasher (with the generous BestBuy discount) that we bought in June 2025. It cleans well and is very quiet. The install and old unit removal went without a hitch.

The great things about this. 1. Multiple choices in cylces. 2. Tells me if the dishes are clean. 3. So quiet. I seriously do not hear it. 4. Racks are deeper. I can fit dinner plates side by side without them touching. 5. The ability to drop the center tray down to allow for bigger bowls is awesome. 6. Extra rack for silverware is nice, I do like being able to remove the silverware holder and take it to the drawer to unload. The Bad - 1. There does seem to be some issues with drying completely. The top rack is usually still a tiny bit wet and I think it drips to other areas. But it's not horrible and not something that would make me give it back.

Cleans dishes great, and is incredibly quiet. The 3rd rack is great for the extra space.

This dishwasher has been the perfect upgrade from my previous model. The construction feels very sturdy and well engineered, and the overall build quality stands out right away. It operates so quietly that there are moments when it is easy to forget the dishes are even being washed. Plus all Stainless Steel inside - Not Plastic! Highly Recommend!

Very happy with the purchase. Really quiet. on the first run, I had to put my ear to the door to know it was running - I could not hear it above the ambient noise in the house. I was a little wary of one reviewers comment that you can use heated dry only on Pro cycle. However, during the purchase, the Best Buy rep confirmed heated dry can be used in all cycles. We mostly use the express wash and heated dry has always worked (see the pic of the console during a run). 3rd rack is a bonus. There is ample space in the spoon rack. Middle rack can be raised to accommodate larger utensils in the bottom rack. Overall, very satisfied with the performance so far.

My wife saw this washer at Lowes in Pittsboro and this is what we wanted. Ours had stopped working days before Christmas and we were expecting guests over the holidays. As luck would have it, they were on backorder until the end of January with both Lowes and Home Depot stores within 50 miles. On Friday night, Best Buy told us they could have one delivered and installed Monday morning. They came through for us! It was delivered and installed as promised! Awesome selection! This is so quiet we weren't even sure it was running (39db). We actually had to get within about a foot before hearing it running. The 3rd rack is an awesome option and it does a superb job! Thrilled!!!

Love it. So reliable, is VERY quiet and cleans efficiently and effectively. Is a little pricey but for sure worth the price and haven’t had any issues with it. + Easy installation

I was leary about a KitchenAid dishwasher but this one is fantastic. Our home is open concept and I wanted a dishwasher that was quiet so we didn’t hear it when watching tv only a short distance away. You cannot hear this dishwasher at all. It also cleans very well.

After first wash cycle unit performed very well. However, didn’t seem to clean as well with liquid dishwasher soap. Pods work the best Unit is so quiet, didn’t realize it was running.

This is the best dishwasher! It is so quiet that I have to put my ears to it to make sure it is working! The dishes come out sparkling clean...plus it's beautiful!

KichenAid dishwasher is efficient, user friendly, and the most quiet dishwasher our family have. The external location of cycle options makes it easily accessible. Highly recommended.K

Get the job done. I’ve had some bad luck with dishwashers, so I decided to put a little more money into a higher quality product. I think the stainless steel tub makes a huge difference. It cleans and dries much better than my other one. For me the biggest benefit is the control panel being on top. My old one I accidentally started the machine all the time when I bumped the button. Overall it’s a solid built machine. I’ve had it for at least a year now and would definitely recommend it.

Very quiet! I have to ask my wife if it is running. Cleaning well, should have upgraded to a new one sooner. Installers had some issues with the space but all worked out good. Totaltech program is great, save us a lot of money.

Unit was missing some minor parts, ie drain hose and attachment brackets. However, for the discounted price it was a great value. This cleans well and is the quietest DW ever made.

Kitchen Aide Dishwasher, Wow I can’t say enough about this purchase, we love it & it’s super quiet . And cleans the dishes great. Couldn’t asked for a dishwasher. Yes it costed more but well worth it & it’s just what I wanted.

I love this new kitchenaid appliance. What I love most is that it’s so very quiet, you don’t even know it’s running when you have it on. 39 DBU if you’re looking for a quiet dishwasher it all about the DBU. The lower the number the quieter it is.
