Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY - THIS IS A POORLY DESIGNED PRODUCT - Our Kitchenaid dishwasher has been a real disappointment. It has constantly leaked, destroyed my floors and at 4 years old stopped running. Called their customer service, really lame and was on hold for a long time. They want to charge us $135 minimum to assess the problem. Searching the reviews on Facebook, I see that most people who have had repairs are not satisfied and end up moving to another brand of dishwasher.

We are Very happy with the quietness of the dishwasher when it is on. But compared to our last dishwasher that we had I am not happy about the drying/heating in it. I have been told that the drying/heating is now different than the old dishwashers but not happy with it at all!

Dish placement not well thought out, as in contrast with Bosch, plate edges are parallel to rack motion, so when you pull the racks, dishes move. No second row or wine glass stem holders on top shelf, as in comparably priced Bosch. I think it holds less plates / utensils / cookware than Bosch. Finally, it is wider in the front and wider than Bosch - so make sure that you have more than 24" opening.
