There is about 6 feet of drain line that you cannot shorten and it has to be put somewhere. 4 feet would have been plenty. the unit does not dry my dishes. I read the install instructions again and ran the set up program again but still nothing gets dry. I have the warranty with geek squad so that is my next call. the unit is very very quiet so that is why 4 star instead of 3.

Quietest Dishwasher Ever - and Thoroughly Cleans!

Very VERY quiet - sometimes I can't tell it's on, and need to rely on the colored light visual queue. Very flexible shelf setup, and I love the convenience of the narrow utensil/cutlery shelf on top. Because of this, I can load the unit very quickly with minimal need to rearrange big or odd shaped items. Mind you I come from the perspective of having a 15+ year basic dishwasher prior to this one. So while any current dishwasher model would be an improvement, what an improvement!

Very Quiet

I took out the top rack as i felt the dishes on the second rack didn't get as clean. I never wanted the extra rack but that is the only way I could get this dishwasher. After a few days, had to have the defective water plump replaced, so now it cleans and rinses well.
