We love this DW so much that we bought it twice. Once after a DW of 15 years finally gave up. We moved out of the house after owning the DW for a year. The house we moved into is a new build and it came with a cheap Samsung DW that we just couldn’t get past all its shortcomings. Surprisingly, this Kitchenaid DW was available for cheaper than when we first bought it and we took the plunge again. Its still as great as we remembered. There must have been a revision of how the lower access panel insulation is installed cause it was much easier installing this time around. The rinse aid door is extremely easy to see if its full or not. The tines are perfectly spaced apart and make it so mich easier to load up. The 2nd rack holds bowls and kids plates while still allowing space for smaller items to the side. Cups fit very nicely on the sides of the 2nd rack. That 3rd rack is just so nice to utilize. The only complaint I have is the sound it makes when first starting. It is definitely louder than the rest of the cycle, but it sounds like it’s leaking all over the floor but it’s not. Sometimes i hear it, but sometimes i don’t. It could have to do with how full the load is or not. Not sure.

Purchase about 3 months ago on clearance at Best Buy. It was easy to install, very quiet and fantastic at cleaning and drying my dishes. Dishes and silverware come out sparkling with no water spots!! Replaced a 4 year old Bosch with this one due to staining my silverware. So glad I made the switch.

This dishwasher is doing a great job of cleaning the dishes. I have always scraped & rinsed the dishes in previous dishwashers, but when reading the directions on this one it said to scrape and load. I tried 2 bowls without rinsing. They came out completely clean, as clean as the ones I rinsed. I like the buttons on the top so my g-granddaughter doesn't have access to them :) & the coded lights that show washing, drying & clean. This dishwasher came with the new installation parts - so the kit we had to buy to have the store warrantee was a waste of $. The washer is very quiet compared to others we have had. Installation directions were awful but the video you can access from the directions was very good.

This is the best dishwasher in the market. We wanted one that was quiet due to our unit placement being in an open living/kitchen area and in an island/interior wall. It is spacious, efficient and so quiet that we do not even hear it run, even when we stand next to it. It looks really good with the bold design and texture. We are very happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I love my new KitchenAid dishwasher is amazing! It is quiet, cleans great, dries nicely. My dishes actually shine again. There is so much room! The top tray is an added bonus.

We replaced our 20 year old dishwasher with this so we are a bit biased in rating. First off, it is VERY quiet in all cycles and our house is quiet. Second, the third racks carries lots of utensils and CHOPSTICKS (we usually put 10 pairs per wash). We cook daily and each wash the machine can clean all pots, dishes, bowls and utensils from 5 people. Now, it takes minimum 2 hours per wash so we wash during tv time and open the door once done, and everything dry in the morning. We found this method working well even without heat drying. Overall we love this machine from the experience of one month of using.

I recently upgraded to the KitchenAid 24" Front Control Built-In Dishwasher, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. Love the dishwasher. It cleans very well, fits everything in, it’s super quiet. Only thing to note is that it takes a long time to finish cycle. If you are thinking of getting installation through Best Buy - DON’T. Scheduling was terrible - had to wait at home 3 different days because they kept screwing up.

I've moved a lot, so I've had lots of different dishwashers to compare this against (including Bosch). It's VERY quiet. Does a GREAT job of getting the dishes clean. I like the silverware basket--it keeps the silverware sorted and makes it easier to take out when finished. The top shelf is a nice addition. It's easy to tell when it's done (white light on front of door). I am not seeing fingerprint marks on the door. I've only had a couple of times when there has been water left on the plastic cups, otherwise everything comes out dry. I would highly recommend this dishwasher.

Only have had this for a month but no complaints. This has to be the quietest dishwasher I've ever known. Cleans well, roomy, nice design. Only draw back is my wife wishes there was a timer to know when the dishes are done. Honestly very happy with it so far.

Torn between the 3 brands of this family. This seemed the best fit. 3rd rack comes in handy for silverware and small items. Actually use it more than I thought I would. Dishes come out spotless and dry. Our old dishwasher was a non heated drying unit. Awful.. super quiet to the point I have to look and see if the power light is on. Speaking of that all the touch panel lights are white. There is a small LED on the front cover near right of handle. During wash cycle it is blue. When finished it is white. As well as on touch panel a Clean led .Easy to tell when done and clean. Seems very well constructed and should last years. Should have done this sooner.

Love the third rack on the dishwasher. It is a must for me now. I also love how quiet the dishwasher is. I can barely even hear it when it runs. Sleek design and easy to use. Gets my dishes clean every time.

I recently replaced my 15 year old KitchenAid dishwasher with this model. I wanted to stick with KitchenAid since I never had any issue with my old unit. This dishwasher is just as good at cleaning as the previous model, but it is significantly quieter. I live in a condo and the kitchen is open to the living and dining room and I cannot hear the unit when it runs. The clean look on the front is nice and I like the hidden controls. The normal cycle does run for about 2 hours, so it isn’t fast. I highly recommend.

super quite, can't even tell if it's running. the only time you hear something is during water intake. cleans really well. open box purchase, broken rack wheel, other than that, it was a great purchase. picked up at Northridge, easy and fast. Friendly reps.

Thoughts after a few weeks of ownership: First, this is a very quiet machine. You can barely hear it running - very important if your kitchen is part of an “open concept.” Second, it cleans dishes very, very well which is why you bought it. Third, the look is sleek and attractive. Now: how reliable will it be? Yet to know, but the brand reputation is pretty good for reliability. It was well worth the price. As always, we buy from Best Buy because of service, price and relationship reliability.

Super quiet and very modern looking. The quality is superb compared to our prior dishwasher. Huge capacity, especially with the 3rd rack AND having the adjustable 2nd rack. Great purchase

We bought this dishwasher based on recommendations of the brand by our appliance repairman. Very well designed with each of the three levels offering roomy and thoughtful space for dishes, serving utensils, knives, etc. dishes come out spotless and the drainage system seems to be well designed. Dishwasher never skips a beat or gets “confused” if you open it mid-cycle to add items, which has been an issue with other brands we’ve had. Doesn’t dry quite as thoroughly as or GE dishwasher did if Jet Dry or similar is not used, but works great if you keep the drying agent compartment filled.

This is the second time I purchased this dishwasher not because there was anything wrong but because I bought one for the previous house I lived in and when I bought a new house, I knew immediately that I wanted to have the same dishwasher. It is so quiet, you can't even tell that it's running LOL. The dishes come out extremely clean and I love the look of it, especially the hidden controls and towel bar. The top rack is so handy. Always best to have a stainless steel tub! Mine was still going strong after 5 years when I sold the house. I am 2 months in on the one in the new house. Best dishwasher ever!

This dishwasher is so quiet! I love having a 3rd rack for utensils instead of the bulky carrier that takes up so much space. The space for the carrier is perfect for large pans! This dies a wonderful job with cleaning dishes and pans especially with the sanitize function!

I love this dishwasher. It is so quiet you can barely hear it running. The space inside for different size pots and pans give this a plus! Everything comes out clean and sparkling. The third level rack is so handy for utensils and silverware makes for an easy retrieval and into the silverware drawer. The control panel is hidden on the top of the door and is nice because little hands can’t see it and it’s so easy to program and start. My only complaint would be with baby plastic kiddy cups. They don’t dry.
