Didnt bother to center it!

Don’t do it!

It was installed and ever since then, it’s been working intermittently. When I called for service from Whirlpool they sent a company out (two times) and the first time they said nothing was wrong with the dishwasher. The second time they replaced the control board and then said we had a bad plug. Had an electrician come out to check the plug and it’s fine. Now Whirlpool wants to send another vendor out instead of just replacing the unit which has proven to be unreliable.

At 39 DBA thought it was suppose to be nearly silent. *************ALSO: you can only use the heated dry option if you select the Pro wash cycle. So express wash, normal wash, rinse only,=CANNOT USE HEATED DRY FUNCTION! Why pay $1000 for something you can only use the heated dry on ONE cycle??? And one more thing, the latch to keep door closed seems very flimsy plastic. Also the latch to open/close detergent holder is very flimsy plastic! I feel like the detergent door holder is not going to last. BB customer service=NOT HELPFUL!!!

Had a mid price LG that lasted 3 months over warranty (1-2 years) and decided on this kitchen aide because the door (where all the electronics are) seemed more substantial than most. I installed it myself and was amazed at how the industry has cheapened the product in just 2 years. Kitchen aid installed working well let you know in 2 years. All in all should have spent a little more and hopped for better quality. Best buys price was equal to or better than most other stores.
