This was a huge adjustment from a dishwasher made 26 years ago, but it was easy install (thanks Total Tech Membership for the free installation). Now it’s just getting used to loading it properly!

I think I made a mistake with another Kitchenaid

My first Kitchenaid a Kdte334gps was great and quiet when it worked but only lasted a few years and had a diverter and two drain pumps fail and then the Circulation pump went out and it needed a replacement. I bought a new Kitchenaid chalking the old one up to being a lemon but now with the noise on the new one I feel I might have made a mistake.

The purchase, delivery, and dishwasher were a 5 Star experience. The installer, however, though he turned out to be a nice enough guy, shows up with a T Shirt imprinted with “Violent Gentlemen” on both sides. Huh? My wife initially answered the door on his arrival, and immediately became very concerned. I arrived to escort this person to the dishwasher for installation, but could not help thinking what this person was communicating. I rate the installation experience 1 star for his mode of dress. What gave him the impression that this T shirt was appropriate for an in-home visit??

We had to get right up next to it to hear that it was in fact operating. Well pleased with the sound control on this model.

Have extended warranty with Best Buy but getting some run around. Will not be buying Kitchenaid appliances again and from Best Buy
