I don't need a dishwasher that irons my newspaper and does my taxes; I need a dishwasher that washes and dries my dishes. This KitchenAid appears to do that quite well, though I have had it only about 1 month. The silverware basket on the bottom rack was loose when it arrived--inexplicably, it wasn't attached to anything. I secured it in place with a zip tie so it would not move around during the cycle. Others have complained that the door opening mechanism is stiff, and I agree. The racks feel lighter-weight and flimsier than my parents' Bosch dishwasher's racks. BUT: it appears to clean my dishes quite well, and dry them adequately also. And at the end of the day, that is what matters to me most.

Very quiet dishwasher. After using this for a few months, it seems solid, quiet, cleans well. nice layout and easy to use. Looks great, does not show fingerprints and was relatively easy to install. My wife is happy so far.

The KitchenAid dishwasher is so quiet that I can hardly tell it is running, and washes and dries the dishes so well. It even dries the plastic containers! I really like the 3rd rack where I can place plastic lids and kitchen utensils.

Nice slick look both inside and outside. Ver quiet. Washes dishes very clean and dries well. Top rack is ok only for knives and flat kitchen utensils .could do without top rack. Only had for a month but . So far so good.

So spacious. Large bowls fit in the second rack, charger plates fit in first rack and cookie sheets or prep utensils fit well in third rack. Also, I love all the options and super scrubbing power as well as how quiet it is.

I purchased this dishwasher about 2 weeks ago. So far, I am very pleased with the performance. My dishes come out very clean. Some of the plastic dishes still have a little water that needs to be wiped off but I would rather do that than use the extra heat cycle. I read several reviews where people complained about the noise level, wasn't as quiet as they expected. Compared to my old dishwasher, this machine is super quiet. I do hear the water entering and draining and occasionally hear a swoosh sound as the dishwasher is washing, but only if I am standing right by the machine. Meets all my expectations from a KitchenAid dishwasher. I did purchase the Best Buy extended warranty for the 5 year period.

We've had this for a couple of months now; happy with its performance, ease of use, quiet as advertised, looks good. For the price we paid, I would've liked some of the enhanced features that are in the next model up (shown in the owner's manual, but "on selected models"). Counting on it lasting a long time.

I love it! Easy to use, and it’s so quiet. You can’t hear it ! My old dishwasher was very noisy. All the glassware actually sparkled! I would highly recommend it, and would definitely purchase it again!

Quite dishwasher, cleans well, lots of room with the 3rd rack. Install was easy with instructions, you will need an adapter for the water line. Pickup was super easy with the curbside pickup at best buy!

We love our dishwasher! The dishes are sparkling clean (even with our hard water) and the available cycles are fantastic especially for tough stains and a full load. This machine is extra quiet too.

Wonderful dishwasher! There is plenty of space for a variety of dishes, pans and cutlery. The third rack comes in very handy for large serving pieces. Everything comes out sparkling clean. Wine glasses tend to to tip a little, I am still working on the perfect placement of them. Extremely quiet!!

We finally replaced our 14 year old Jenn Air dishwasher that functioned, but whose internal rack and rollers were falling apart. It was also noisy as heck when running - to be point people had to raise their voices to be heard during conversations in the kitchen. We picked this KitchenAid appliance because it had the quietest db rating that we could find. The difference between this new unit and the old one is night and day. This thing is so quiet, we need to listen carefully to even tell whether its running or not! It also cleans and dries much quicker and more efficiently. Totally satisfied!

So far so good. It runs quietly and dishes have come out clean and mostly dry. Plastic items are still wet, but that seems to be a problem with most dishwashers. I have some concerns about the digital buttons - they are a bit persnickety and seem to require precision when pressing them. The layout is OK, but could be better. Wider mouth cups are hard to fit in place and end up taking up more room than I would prefer. I could fit more in my inexpensive GE dishwasher.

We bought this on line based on the fact we had a similar dishwasher in our previous home. We liked that one very much. So far, this model had NOT been disappointing. It is extremely quiet, and leaves the dishes shining. I don't use the heat dry and the dishes still come out spotless. It is easy to use and the fold down tines in the basket make for easy loading of odd shaped bowls. We wanted a dishwasher that would rinse and hold dishes as there are only two in household. It has several wash options and all have produces excellent results. Kitchenaid has made a reasonably priced, Extremely Quiet, excellent product with this dishwasher.

Lots of room. It’s only a few days old so I’m still getting used to the configuration and various options but far the Dishes come out really clean with out pre rinsing and bone dry. So quiet, you don’t know it’s on. Delivery/installation guys were great.

this is amazing! starting to begrudgingly having to replace older appliances. we bought this one because of the noise level rating, even though the handle doesn't match our other appliances. My husband hates dishwasher noise and we are not disappointed. when i first ran it i had to put my ear right up to it to make sure it was running!! super super quiet, only noise i hear is the water draiing for a few seconds. i love the 2nd rack that moves up and down, i can now fit large items that didn't fit well in my older diswasher, the third rack is amazing, i found putting all my knives, bread, butter and steak knives is the best spot for them, they clean so well and don't get those little brown dots on them that i have to clean after. i love that i have that third rack for utensils, small lids, spoon holder etc, this is an amazing dishwasher sturdy, quiet and works great. the only thing i could complain about is that it doesn't show how long the cycle has to run, and that the door is a bit heavy and comes down really low to the floor but very minor issues for a quiet effective dishwasher. i've been using Molly's Suds pods and they seem to be working better than my other natural pods. I use the tough setting all the time, i always have because my stuff can sit for a few days before i need to run it, although i don't put dishes in with tons of food on them, this cycle seems to work best for me. If you want a quiet dishwasher this is it! also the 2nd and third racks get cleaned really well as they have their own sprayer thing attached. oh and this one doesn't show prints at all! i love that because i hate stainless appliances for this reason. i barely notice and drips or marks it's stayed very clean and perfect looking!

The best dishwasher in the market. Very quiet and efficiently cleans the dishes and flatware regardless of setting. Plenty of room. Second drawer is adjustable if a tall item is placed on the first drawer. Ample room for tons of flatware.

It’s so quiet I love it. Very roomy, lots of space to put utensils. Third rack is great.

We have been using KitchenAid dishwashers since our first home ….1967! Excellent cleaning. Extremely quiet operation. Beautiful black stainless finish.

We've had 4 dishwashers in the last 15 years - they just don't seem to hold up. So far, so good with this one. It feels smaller than the others we've had and I miss the "bottle wash" feature, but....I LOVE the knife rack at the very top - just a tiny hidden rack where you can put those utensils that you never quite knew what to do with. It gets the dishes clean and has all of the basic features. It's pretty much no frills, but we're hoping this one LASTS.
