This is a great dishwasher. My last dishwasher was a Kenmore and was over 16 years old. It was still kicking, but things were starting to go, and it was extremely loud. I was hesitant to buy a new one since it had lasted so long. I chose this model over the next with the full 3rd rack. I was worried I would miss the features like wine glass holders and adjustable parts of the racks. I do not, and am glad I didn’t spend the extra money in those features. This dishwasher cleans AND dries extremely well. It even gets old stains off my stainless steel pots. The only time things are wet is if they have a slight indent in the top, so if I angle everything to allow the water to drain off, everything comes out completely dry. I put all of my silverware, as well as larger utensils in the top rack. I pulled out the very large, non-adjustable utensil caddy (the only flaw) and use a very small utensil bin that I kept from my old dishwasher for utensils like spatulas and very small items that don’t fit well in the third rack. This also gives me more room on the bottom. The dishwasher is very quiet compared to what I had. You hear a bit of splashing and some motor noises, but they are not loud enough to disrupt conversation or interfere with audio from TVs or other devices. As sad as it sounds, I am actually excited to fill it up and turn it on!

THIS IS A GREAT DISHWASHER. QUITE AND EFFICIENT. DISHES COME OUT CLEAN AND DRY. WE HAD TO RETURN OUR LG AS IT WAS TERRIBLE AND EXCHANGED IT FOR THE KITCHEN AID SO HAPPY WE DID. THE THIRD, TOP RACK IS AN ADDED PLUS AND THE MACHINE IS STURDY AND HOLDS UP TO HEAVY PLATES.

I love my new dishwasher. I have been using for about a month and love it, especially all the extra room (height) for the top shelf. Ver quiet compared to my last one. Using Prowah with heat dry cleans everything really well and doesn't melt or bend top shelf plastic. Delivery and installation was arranged by Best Buy (a holiday special low price) with a 4 hr window. They did not arrive until 20 minutes after the time slot (we waited at home 4 hours!). The finally called when i contacted the Geek Squad at the end of the 4 hours. Once they arrived they were great and the instal was perfect. They even helped my husband roll the old one out to the curb, which made up for the delay. My daughter needs appliances and I recommended Best Buy and Kitchen Aid to her.

Originally we received a dishwasher that immediately had a motor failure error right after Best Buy installed it. We exchanged the first one and upon receipt of the second one, everything was exactly as we expected. We’ve only had the dishwasher a few weeks but it is incredibly quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes. The drying element on all glass is great! Plastic still has issues and has to air dry or be dried by hand. There is plenty of space in the top and bottom rack and the third rack holds much more than I thought it would. We’re still figuring out the placement of how items fit best but overall we are very happy with our purchase.

Love this dishwasher. Formerly had a Bosch that was the worst!! Love this one! Didn’t think I would like the third shelf or even use it but we use it all the time now. The dishes come out sparkling and the thing is so quiet we don’t even know if it’s on. Highly recommend!

This dishwasher is amazingly quiet. Once you recognize the best way to maximize the space when loading it you can fit a lot of dishes in it and it cleans very well. You must rely on the light on the outside to tell what is happening with dishwasher (washing/drying/done) because it is soooo quiet, you can't tell when it is running. It is such a welcome change from every other dishwasher we have ever had. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

We love this dishwasher, quietest we've ever owned, easy to use, cleans well, and seems very solidly built. As other have said, you almost can't hear it running - good that it has LEDs on front! The trays are easier to fill more efficiently than we could with our Bosch dishwasher.

We have had the dishwasher a few weeks and it seems to do a very good job cleaning and it is VERY VERY quiet - those were the most important factors during work-from-home life. We like the third rack so we can wash lots of silverware and, thus, run it less frequently. We wish the bottom two racks were more flexible and would have wine-glass holders.

I've been happy with this dishwasher so far. It's very quiet, and gets everything perfectly clean. The filter is easy to remove and clean, it has sufficient options, and I like the convenience of the third rack. I'm also happy I got the stainless steel interior rather than plastic. It seems sturdier. It also has nice clean lines on the outside.

This purchase was based solely on the need for a quite dishwasher and the 39 dBA was the feature that sealed the deal. Installation was easy and the amount of insulation was impressive. It is QUIET! I have been standing next to it and not aware it is running. Very happy with the cleaning performance and tray spacing.

Not the unit I originally was looking for, but the front controls are not as bad as I thought. It is very quiet, but some cycles are noisier than others. I like the third rack for silverware, however the placement of the silverware takes a bit of care to line items up properly and fit them in the spaces at the right angles. That being said, the third rack is much better for cleaning than the standup baskets. This unit also has a stand up basket on the lower rack, but it is removable. I usually take it out to give myself more room for bowls and dishes. The tines on this model are nicely spaced, so the dishes are not on top of each other. My dishes have deep edges, so I need the wider tines. This dishwasher does not tell you when you need to add rinse aid; you have to check the little window and figure that out yourself. It also does not remind you to clean the filter, so you need to check that every two months or so. It uses very little water. The installer recommended running the hot water in the sink to have it ready before starting the machine, so it won’t have to work so hard to heat the water for cleaning…interesting, ut easy to forget to do.

Unbelievably Quiet , You have to really pay attention to hear that it is running, Cleans everything very Nice, replaced a 17 year old Bosch that we thought was quiet , this unit is really quiet , The third rack is very useful , Top control panel is easy to see Highly recommended Dishwasher Best of all MADE IN THE USA!!

This dishwasher was a great purchase. It runs super quietly and does a great job cleaning the dishes and leaving them spotless. The 3rd rack is also very convenient for various silverware items and utensils.

Love it!!! Replaced our old washer with this one!!! Couldn’t be happier. It is quiet and cleans great so far. Has the 3rd row for silverware, which our old one didn’t have.only thing is it doesn’t get dishes as dry as our old one. It is still way better, I can deal with drying off a few things.

Very happy with my new dishwasher. I am able to put dirty dishes in without washing them first. It’s been a long time! It is also very quiet. I love the 3rd rack up top for our utensils and dog food lids.

Excellent dishwasher. Does a great job cleaning all dishes, glasses, etc. It is also extremely quiet. My wife loves everything about this dishwasher including the third shelf for utensils, controls, etc. Probably the best thing about this item is my wife loves it!

Cleans great and so very quiet!! Love this dishwasher. Not a huge fan of the tops of the utensil bins but they can come off. The third rack is great for large serving utensils or tops of containers.

I absolutely love this dishwasher! It is so quiet that sometimes I check it to make sure it's running. The dishes come out spotless (I do use a rinse aid) and the third rack makes a huge difference. It has a solid and sturdy feel to it and It looks great in my kitchen. Highly recommend; great value for the price.

I didn't think I would like the 3rd rack but it actually makes a lot of sense now that I have it. Ensures a thorough clean of all silverware because they won't "nest" together. Very quiet! Sometimes can't even tell it's running. Made in the USA. High quality feel to it. Clean looking front with the buttons on the top hidden away while closed. Very happy with purchase.

So glad I upgraded to this dishwasher - infinitely quieter and cleaning dishes beautifully. Love the third rack. Four stars instead of five only because of the ultra-sensitive control panel that engages a cycle every time the door is opened or during unload if you are not paying attention. On my wish list would have been a choice of handles to match other appliances.
