Support scheduled a repair technician visit 1 week out. They waited until the appointment to tell me they can't touch it if it's under a year, whirlpool owns kitchenaid and they want to service it themselves. Also told that totaltech membership has no effect on this purchase and I'll be paying pull parts and labor. TLDR: Don't buy a kitchenaid dishwasher or totaltech

I only have one complaint..ok well two. One...I have to use the extended dry on it and it still leaves quite a bit of water. Do not like that. Also since it is leaving water, the handle and basket has water just sitting on top of it. sooo alot of water comes off the basket when I lift it out. I am not happy about this. My last whirlpool dried better than this one. TWO, I did NOT receive a manual on how to use this machine. WHY? Kitchenaid doesnt even have one available to download on their site. WHY? So kitchenaid thinks that people just need to FIGURE IT OUT? Seriously? I have contacted Kitchenaid twice now. First time no response..i am waiting again for a response. Folks I recommend you picking a different manufacture if this is how they do things. I will NOT buy this brand (all brands) they make again. will buy from someone different.

I have used the 3rd rack, and it is very convenient. I haven't packed the dishwasher completely full yet, but so far it's done everything I expected.

Did my first load and it fit a lot of dishes and big knives on 3rd rack. It is very quiet and dishes came very clean.

Error codes indicated a "wash motor failure". The installer called it in as defective and we chose a different brand. It would have been our third KitchenAid dishwasher. So disappointing.

LOVE This Dishwasher

I’ve done two loads so far and in all honesty, I had no idea my previous dishwasher (NOT Kitchen Aid) was doing such a poor job ! Everything comes out SO shiny and clean looking ! I thoroughly rinse my dishes out of habit (my mother had us rinse dishes when we were kids *grin*) so when I wash my dishes, I used the Express Wash Cycle. Even using that, the difference is unreal ! I’m glad my previous dishwasher died. I think we’ll be healthier for it especially during this time of Covid-19. I HIGHLY recommend this dishwasher ! And I LOVE the top/third rack ! VERY handy ! I hope this continues to operate like this for YEARS to come !

It definitely lives up the reviews. It's incredibly quiet, a great layout for loading and the dishes are clean and dry. We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend it!
