I think I made a mistake with another Kitchenaid

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this dishwasher a week ago and so far, it is cleaning fine but much noisier than the previous 39db Kitchenaid I had. it is up close to 50db and you can hear the swishing noises several rooms away. My first Kitchenaid a Kdte334gps was great and quiet when it worked but only lasted a few years and had a diverter and two drain pumps fail and then the Circulation pump went out and it needed a replacement. I bought a new Kitchenaid chalking the old one up to being a lemon but now with the noise on the new one I feel I might have made a mistake.

Painful Experience

KitchenAid Tech said something about an after market piece being installed on it but it was brand new. Best Buy tells me it's a warranty issue and couldn't replace it? Brutal.

Just an OK dishwasher

Have not tried the extended drying cycle but not too keen on using that much more electricity when they dry just fine opening the door. Do not like that the silverware holder is on the right side since my sink is on the left side of the dishwasher and means I have to reach across it to load dirty silverware. Not quite as quiet as I’d hoped it would be.

We had to get right up next to it to hear that it was in fact operating. Well pleased with the sound control on this model.

I would give 4 and 1/2 stars but: 1) I can't. 2) I find it unbelievable that it doesn't come with a cord and plug to plug it into a socket. I haven't has it for more than 1 month so I don't know how well it will last. I got it on sale. Most often it dries perfectly and sometimes there is water on the dishes.
