We bought this based on the 39 dBA rating. After hearing it run once, I asked the installer why is it so loud. The installer said this is normal for this dishwasher. We put a decibel reader by it and let it sit and it consistently reads in high 40's to low 50's. This dishwasher is so loud. We called kitchenaid and they sent a repair person out a few days later. They said the same thing, that the sound was normal. My 10yr old dishwasher that we replaced never made a sound. You had to put your ear up to it to tell if it was running. Now I’m stuck with a loud dishwasher that we can hear from other parts of the house.

Two Kitchenaid dishwashers were properly installed and both failed to function out of the box. Both reported the same error code. Switched to Bosch. Would not recommend kitchenaid now. Still waiting for the Bosch and doing dishes by hand.

We have used a Kitchen Aid Dishwasher before and we are looking forward to using the product again

We bought a Kitchen Aide dishwasher and we’re not pleased with as the dishes were not properly washed. We arranged to replace it and the new machine also did not wash dishes properly. We suspect we received an open box machine because we did not receive an instruction manuel and the inside of the machine was dirty. We are so displeased that I have written to the president of Best Buy

Delivered a faulty dishwasher and said they couldn’t deliver a new one for two weeks. Returned it to the store myself and got a refund and bought the same model at another retail store

I regret replacing my old whirlpool dishwasher with this machine. The 20 years old one has soaking and many other options . The new one has only 5 options, and soaking is not one of them causing a bad result.

Works as expected. Very quiet when on. Installation team was great.

Folks, do yourself a favor, and do not buy this dishwasher. Why? The answer is simple. It does not wash your dishes. Unless you thoroughly clean (not rinse) your dishes, there will be several that come out the very same way they went in. How I long for my ten year old Whirlpool model, that while unsightly, at least cleaned the dishes. I paid a lot of money for this piece of garbage, and now I'm stuck with it. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Also, don't fall for any responses we get from Kitchen Aid on these reviews. Do you really think they actually care? It's just "marketing" to fool you into thinking they actually care. Don't buy their BS. Better yet, don't buy their product.

Had to come twice, wasn't installed correctly. Was loose on one side, rattled around.

This dishwasher is a disappointment. It is supposed to be very quiet, but is not. Every time I open the door water leaks on the floor. I would return it after the 2 weeks I've had it if it was possible. I'm VERY disappointed.

If I could give it a 0 I would. I purchased this $1034 dishwasher plus a Best Buy repair service (2 years) in June 2022. It stopped working altogether in August of 2022. Since it comes with only a 1 year warranty, KitchenAid also apparently believes it's a piece of crap. Oh, and the 2 year repair plan? Apparently I needed to renew it annually for $180. So if I wanted a dishwasher to last, say 5 years, I'd need to spend $2000.

I purchased this dishwasher about a month ago and had high hopes for it being a KitchenAide. Unfortunately it has been a very disappointing experience since the dishes are always wet even after the Prpwash Cycle and the extrnded heat dry option. I tried it out for a month thinking I was doing something wrong. But after multiple experiments with different wash cycles, I have to say that I would not recommend this specific model. Spend a few hundred more and get something that doesn't give you more work by having to dry the dishes after every wash.

DO NOT BUY THIS DISWAHER! Bought it January last year and it has stopped working just after 1 year.

We ordered this dishwasher to be delivered with our refrigerator, which they said they could do. Turns out, it is two different teams when working with Best Buy. After multiple telephone calls that were not helpful, we cancelled and ordered one from Home Depot. Got it that weekend. Dishwasher is great. Best Buy and their delivery is poor.

Never buy an open box item from Best Buy. I purchased a dishwasher advertised to be in excellent condition from their Christinia De store .After installation, the product was noisy so I called KitchenAid. They asked if all the insulation was correctly installed. I asked what insulation and they said it should have 5 pieces of insulation included in the box. Best Buy does not allow you to contact the store by phone and corporate refused to provide any assistance.
