Quiet and cleans well. Easy to load and love the third rack

Our old dishwasher started winding down. We needed a new dishwasher and since we upgraded our kitchen with KitchenAide appliances, we decided to stick with the brand. This washer is very quiet during operation. The old Bosch was extremely noisy. We can run a wash and this washer is far quieter than our washing machine and dryer in the next room. Operation of the controls is via touchpad on the door. We generally use the "express" function as it cleans the dishes perfectly well on a much shorter cycle. My only gripe is that the dishes, even when using heated drying, still don't dry. I just need to read the manual and make sure I'm using the washer properly. The KitchenAide has a LOT of room for dishes and utensils. I'm still getting used to the utensil rack being on the bottom part of the washer, but it's not a big deal. This is a fantastic dishwasher.

We have had this KitchenAid dishwasher for over a year. Every load comes out clean and dry. The third rack handles coffee mugs and glasses leaving the middle rack free for larger items. It is so quiet that we wonder if it is actually running sometimes. We could not recommend this dishwasher more.

Excellent product- so quiet when running I have to check panel to make sure. Rinse only cycle great when not ready to wash a full load of dishes. Normal cycle gets dishes clean without having to initially rinse before washing.

Very, very quiet! Cleans effectively and fairly efficiently. Loading capacity seems good, organized, and intuitive except for the upper rack which we’re still adjusting to. Jury is out on that one so far.

Love this kitchen aid dishwasher. So quiet I’ve had to double check that it was running! The third rack is handy, I just need to get used to how low the bottom rack is. Overall I’m very happy with it.

I have used this dishwasher for over a week; cleans great except for stuck on food on knives. The panel to set the dishwasher is better than my old model; it would “drain” when you bumped the setting. Handle is across the entire front door; easy to open. Easy to load.

After our house flooded with Hurricane Harvey the one thing I was excited about ordering were new appliances. I love the styling, features, and quality of KitchenAid products and was thrilled to purchase the 25.8 Cu. Ft. French Door refrigerator (KRMF706ESS), the beautiful dishwasher with a 3rd rack (KDTE304GPS), the 30" Double Oven with convection (KODE500ESS), and an enormous Microwave with a removable shelf for lots of options (KNHP519ESS) which had a special cherry cabinet built around it. Our kitchen was finally ready, just in time for Christmas 2018. The refrigerator was the first to have issues, with the ice maker leaking, stopping, freezing the entire thing up which had to be thawed with a hair dryer. We replaced the ice container 6/20, motor, seal and shaft 8/20, I/M leaking and stopped cooling on both sides 6/22. In August 2023 the entire fridge had quit working correctly and would have cost over 1K for parts which 'might' have solved the issue. Sadly our wonderful microwave started making a loud noise and quit running October 2023 and the technician gave us the news that the Magnetron shorted, and couldn't be fixed. We have a whole house surge protector so we know it wasn't caused by electrical issues. Now in the summer of 2024 our dishwasher quit working correctly. The motor has died in the main wash assembly. It would cost more than $600 as the entire bottom of the unit must be replaced. Since 3 of our 4 expensive KitchenAid appliances have failed I asked the technician about our very pricy oven which he warned us that if the heating element on the bottom goes out, the removal and repair for it will be astronomical, because of the way it is constructed. I absolutely love these appliances, they were all top notch and had every feature I could ever want, but I can't believe that I have spent over $10,000 and am having to replace 3 of the 4 in less than 6 years!

Love it! Super quiet and gets the job done! Would definitely recommend! Worth every penny.

So far I am loving this dishwasher. We had a Bosch previously and decided to go with the KitchenAid this time around and it is cleaning our dishes very well. My only complaint is sometimes on the heated dry, I feel like some of my dishes could be more dry,

We bought this kitchenaid dishwasher 6 months ago and it was quiet and loved the third rack. Then it started leaking. The repairman promptly came Jan 21, 2021 and he needed to order a pump which was to come in soon. They are telling us now that it won't be here until the end of April!!! This is really not acceptable! I'll never buy another kitchenaid! You can't get them serviced! And you can't get anyone to answer the phone at Best Buy to help you!
