Works great and looks good. Has a nice 3rd rack for long utensils too.

The middle basket is defective for loading. The lower rack is low capacity and cant handle large dishes with center basket raised.

Our control panel went out too. So disappointing.

Horrible! Had for 6 months completely died. I’m on a 2nd month dealing with the Whirlpool. They absolutely don’t care, just keep quoting- Warranty and trying minor fixes. New part they are shipping will take 6 weeks, 2 more to schedule for installation and won’t guarantee it will work then. Washing by hand for 3-4 months. Imagine that.

I wanted to document my experience with Kitchen Aid and my brand new dishwasher. Service Job Number: SWPR133B1416-1 Model: KDTM404KPS Serial: FA4703089 Problem Description: Not Starting or Operating - Dishwasher Since then I experienced the following: - 7 No shows/no calls from Service Provider - Can't reach service provider - Provider finally replaced all electronics with no change - Seals are not installed back properly - 2 referrals to escalation team with a promise of a call within 3 days. - Never a call - After 5 weeks, I replaced the unit and was told - No refunds I feel that I gave Kitchen Aid every chance to fix the machine, but I lost all confidence in the product and their service. Worst experience ever!!! Purchased the dishwasher in November 2020 and didn't work. Kitchenaid sent out the repair man a few days later and said they needed to order the parts. I should have returned to Best Buy at that time but decided to keep it and even purchased the extended warranty. Well the parts take 2 months to come in and when it does the repair company tells me the parts are damaged and need to reorder. Now it going on 4 months and still no parts. I've always purchased Kitchenaid but think I will switch to Bosch since their service has been going downhill.

This dishwasher is terrible! and BESTBUY doesn't care at all about anything other than making a sale. This broke under 7 months of below average use. Bestbuy just took my money from many appliances and dumped me onto the manufacturer what a JOKE!

Worst DW purchase ever - purchased several years ago. Dishes do not get clean despite cleaning filter weekly, cleaning all parts, and trying various rinsing and not rinsing beforehand strategies. Have had it serviced several times for various reasons. Finally discovered it is slowly dripping water underneath and had ruined our floors. KitchenAid service is terrible and constantly trying to sell upgraded warranty for their terrible products. Will not be buying Kitchen Aid this time. Don't recommend at all.

Worst dishwasher ever. Do not buy. Broke a month later. Kitchen aid's customer service was awful on top of that.

Purchased this unit. Delivered on 3/21/24. Installed and tried to use 5 times with only 1 successful wash cycle. Best Buy says to call KitchenAid. KitchenAid says the 'warranty' will only replace the defaulty wash motor at this time unless the appliance tech tells KitchenAid that it should be replaced. Brand NEW appliance less than 4 weeks old and DOES NOT WORK. Very disappointing. It's the F7E1/F7E2 error code.

Unsure about the dishwasher itself. However best buys delivery service texted me saying one day, and then i get a call the day before saying the technician is on his way. During the follow up customer service call the CS person immediately denied my claim. I don't recommend best buys unreliable delivery service, therefore order from someone else

We replaced a 10+year old Kitchen Aid (42 db that made no noise whatsoever - it was so quiet you had to touch the door and feel the vibration to know it was operating). This new "39 db" sounds like we're driving through a car wash. The whooshing, spinning, and sounds of water slamming against the door can even be heard outside of the kitchen. So disappointed. Beware. Returned it for a Bosch.

Layout is terrible and at this price point should include inside lighting- sending back for another model

Dishwasher Stopped Dispensing Detergent and Rinse Aid after 6 months. The detergent door stopped opening and rinse aid dispenser stopped working after only 6 months. To purchase an expensive dishwasher, for it to stop operating correctly after only 6 months is very frustrating. I’ll never purchase another Kitchen Aid appliance again.

Dishwasher came after about 2 months of waiting and showed up broken. Now, we're having to wait a few move weeks for a replacement.

Bought the kdfm404kbs and paid good money for it because i always thought Kitchenaid was a good product. Wont drain and just beeps. Spent almost $500 in repairs and still not draining. I will mever buy another Kitchenaid product! Poor customer service! Had it for 2 yrs and sat in a box for 6 months.

I see how this works now. I bought a Kitchenaid KDTM354DSS4, 3.5 yrs ago, $800, and suffered 2 breakdowns. The rack wheels broke and the pump filter failed. Kitchenaid customer service job is to make anyone outside the 1yr warranty go away with no satisfaction. No wait, I have a $350 repair, and no dishwasher for 4 weeks!!

I originally purchased this dishwasher as an open box item and after a week it quit working. Best buy was awesome about getting me a brand new replacement but once received, again it did not work. Return and received a 3rd brand new one just to have it installed and not work. I wanted to switch Kitchenaid models but best buy would not accommodate the price change so I had no choice but to switch brands after receiving 3 of the above Kitchenaid dishwashers,
