    Beware the missing bad reviews, the same exact model KDFM404KPS was sold to us in 1/21, but at that time it was sold as 38 dab instead of the current 44 dba so maybe they feel they don’t have to share the bad reviews about that dreaded blinking Clean light that renders the machine useless without a new control panel. Ours started 2 days after the 1 year warranty expired. Kitchenaid should be ashamed of themselves because many owners have experienced this same problem! Unfortunately ours didn’t happen until 2 days after warranty!!! Apparently it’s because the circuit board was not soldered correctly in the manufacturing process. Repair experts consider it a design flaw! Same on Kitchenaid and Best Buy for listing the same model as a different dba so the bad reviews don’t show up for current buyers of this poorly designed machine!

    Got 6/27/2020. Loved it BUT now being told it has a washer pump motor out …500 repair and to pitch it because the motherboard possibly got water in it . Single user of dishwasher and keep exceptionally clean . This is crazy . No warranty stated for either item .

    We put a lot of work into reviewing the best dishwasher so we wouldnt have repair issues. Havent had it 1 1/2 yrs and have put $368 in it and still not working. Doesnt drain even tho drain works randomly. Now they want me to pay to replace water fill or something

    Sales dept was fantastic. Installation not so much. Could not install dishwasher do to electrical issue. That of course is not Best Buy issue. However installer removed dishwasher and did not properly hook up plumbing causing a leak while waiting for electrician. Had to call plumber (and of course pay for) as a result. Very disappointing and unnecessarily expensive. Having purchased from you over the years this causes me pause.

    Would not recommend purchasing this dishwasher. We have had it less than 2 years and there has already been a recall on the heating element and currently the sump+motor failed. The replacement is on back order with no ETA. The Kitchenaid/Whirlpool customer service is not helpful.

    Brand new....defective out-of-box. Poor quality.

    My dishwasher was delivered this week. The Best Buy team was great. My contractors came over to install the next day. When they ran it through the test cycle, it would NOT DRAIN. Bad water pump. They checked to make sure everything was installed perfectly which it was. I called KitchenAid to see if they had any other info for my contractors who had backtracked and done problem determination. On hold for 40 minutes with KitchenAid customer service. Gave up and told my contractors to leave. I went online and scheduled a service call for after Thanksgiving. Quality control failed, KitchenAid. So disappointed. No more KitchenAid products for me. What a negative experience.
